Description

Today's episode is a conversation with Sarah Cowart, academic coach for athletes. Sarah is the owner of Sideline Confessions where she helps parents and student athletes navigate the academic process to play sports in college. No matter your sport or current GPA she will help you focus in on the necessary steps to be prepared and achieve your dream of collegiate sports! I love this conversation because as a dietitian that works with many student athletes, including those in high school with dreams of competing in the NCAA I think this episode will be so helpful in preparing these athletes for their future. Sarah graduated from Auburn University in 2005 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She began her professional career as a Teacher and High School Soccer Coach. In 2010, I completed my Masters of Sport Administration at Belmont University. After graduate school, she began a career working in Division 1 athletics, taking her to Belmont University, The University of South Alabama, and The Pennsylvania State University. She has supported hundreds of student-athletes as they walked through their college career. The NCAA eligibility website that Sarah mentions can be found here: https://web3.ncaa.org/ecwr3/   Find Sarah at Instagram: @sidelineconfessions Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/SideLineConfessionsAuburn Website: www.sidelineconfessions.com If you'd like to get in touch with Lindsey Cortes MS RD CSSD please head to: www.RiseUpNutritionRUN.com or click here directly to book a call

That’s why I’m sharing my knowledge of female-specific nutrition, training, body image, and mindset to help you fuel your body to perform at your highest level. Whether you are looking for a competitive edge with your nutrition training and mindset, or looking to overcome harmful nutrition habits and body acceptance, you’ve come to the right place!
