Description
Today I interview Anna Rohrer, experienced runner and mindset and performance coach. This episode touches on it all: athletics, nutrition, and mindset! We discuss her personal experiences with running starting at a young age with success in high school being named Gatorade Girls XC Runner of the Year in 2014-2015 and 2x National Footlocker Champion, helping her land a spot on Notre Dame's XC & Track and Field teams. But this success was not achieved without many hardships along the way, including major injuries. From being one of the best in the nation to being in a wheelchair with injury soon after, Anna quickly had to reframe her mindset and stay positive in order to find continued success. Anna's mindset shifts also helped her along her nutrition journey. In college she sought help from a sports dietitian and kept an open mindset to learn how to nourish her body better, while pursuing careers in the field of science that helped her understand the importance of food as fuel. Now Anna is a coach and mentor to young athletes while also helping high level professionals with mindset.
