Synopsis

Will is missing and a minor beef has developed between Oliver, Lisa, and Evelyn. Lisa strongly believes Oliver is to blame still, even though she’d lost any evidence to make him plead guilty. Evelyn, on the other hand, after Oliver reveals Lisa’s former cases of mental illness, is unsure of who to trust. She feels alone and vulnerable. Oliver tries to make her feel better, and they end up kissing at the foot of a mountain. Lisa realizes that her sister has been brainwashed by Oliver, and goes on a one-man stalking mission, which eventually leads her to where Will is being kept captive. Evelyn is furious when she realizes that she’d been naïve, once again. Together, they try to free Will.

Evelyn’s POV

I am terrified! Will is missing and to make matters worse, Lisa and Oliver are uncovering truths that I can’t even be certain of. I am so confused and in my frustration, I lash out at Lisa when she keeps going on about Oliver. I think he wants to help. Lisa gives me another reason to doubt him when she leads me to where Will is being held. I feel stupid, again. Will is looking sickly and my heart is broken.

Will’s POV

I wake up in an unknown cellar after a terrible nightmare. It takes a while before I remember what had happened to me. The Hornets have held me captive, and with each meal I take, I get weaker and weaker. Oliver digs up my father’s debts to the Hornets and threatens to take away all of my assets in exchange for the money owed them by my father. There’s an alternative. He will clear the debts if I agree to let Evelyn be. I am going to give up, considering how I’d be dead, anyway, but Evelyn and Lisa arrive at the cellar one day. They are on a mission to save me.

Oliver

Keep him sedated, please. I need this to play out just fine! As for the sheriff's department, leave them to me. I’ll handle it! Oliver said to the guys at the entrance of the plantation. He had started walking towards his car when he stopped and turned to them with a final instruction.

Our guy at the station should make sure the evidence never gets to the sheriff. I could be up for forgery! he said and started towards his car. As he got in and started the car, he noticed one of the men jogging toward him. He wondered what he’d left out.

Sir, what do we do with Kevin? the guard asked cautiously. Kevin was the guard that was supposed to watch over Lisa. He failed at his duty, giving Lisa an edge to get acquainted with his plans for her sister.

Shoot his brains out! Oliver replied, without looking at the guard’s face. He drove out of the plantation. He had a destination in mind: the field, their previous meeting point. Everything had to look credible and there must be no tracing Will’s disappearance to him or his father. He still had to win Evelyn over. He was totally obsessed with her. If only she understood that his father would never stop when it comes to things that his sons want, she’d stop this petty game.
