Watching my son Oliver playing happily in his imaginary world, I smiled.
‘Come on,’ I said. ‘It’s time to go home, let’s get changed.’
But he refused to take off his policeman costume.
‘He’s been wearing it all day,’ the nursery worker laughed.
They’d learnt all about how police officers help people, and Oliver, six, was hooked.
