Oliver

The loud explosion from the house startled him. He’d left Timeon to listen in on their conversation while he tailed Adrian. So far, the young man has not shown any sign of being up to something fishy, but Oliver still doubts him.

Oliver was already returning to the shack when he heard the explosion from the house. He started toward the building. Adrian was still in there. What exactly was going on? When he got to the door of the house, he pulled out his pistol, kicked down the door, and held up his gun, ready to shoot any hostile force that might stand up to him.

The smoke in the house made it difficult for him to see anything, but he could hear a muffled voice calling. Oliver followed the voice to the backdoor of the house. He grunted in displeasure when he saw Adrian bound to a chair. A low grunt escaped his lips when he saw the back door wide open.

What the hell happened? he yelled, rushing past his brother to the backyard. He saw the large hole in the fence and gritted his teeth in frustration. Looks like Bill and his team have bested them again.

He returned to Adrian, helping him get free. The latter had torn flesh and was in pain with every move Oliver took to free him. He took out the gag between his lips.

Where did they go? he asked.

Adrian groaned in pain. He threw his head back and tried to take in as much fresh air as possible. Oliver shook him roughly. He didn’t have the time for all the drama.

Talk, Adrian. Where the hell did they go? Oliver was screaming now as he reached into his pocket, and took out his phone, dialing Timeon.

Adrian was still groaning. Oliver watched as he seemed to not have any strength to even utter a word. Timeon answered the phone.

Did you hear anything? They're not here.

I heard nothing. More like it was mute. Timeon answered.

Oliver gritted his teeth in anger. He fixed his gaze on Adrian, putting down the phone. Did you say anything? he asked.

Adrian groaned and nodded his head slowly. Oliver was frustrated.

What did you say? The location of the safe house? Oliver hated that his once agile older brother was nothing but a mere pack of bones that could easily be bullied.

I had to, Adrian muttered.

Oliver sucked in some air and banged his fist against the wall of the house. He dialed Donny immediately. You could not send some kind of signal when you were being tortured? What happened to the chip? Oliver was mad with anger. How could Adrian act so unintelligently?

Donny answered the phone.

I think the safe house has been compromised! Adrian talked. He was tortured. Oliver reeled out all the information at
