    Introduction

    The intention to manifest lasting health and longevity is a positive one. In my view, at the fundamental level of life, there is a vast, vibrant sea of positive energy that allows itself to birth life-affirming potentials. At the fundamental starting point of it all, I describe the presence of infinite potential for life, vitality, vibrancy, and creativity, the very potential that births stars, galaxies, and sentient life. At the deeper level of reality, the Universe is rich with life.

    To start or continue to set positive intentions for your health and well-being is to tune into the positive potentials the Universe and Universal Intelligence can make available. To want to experience more well-being, optimal health, strength, longevity, and more, from my perspective, is to value your physical existence. It’s valuing the gift of life and being alive. The prioritization of health and well-being intentions is one that I highly encourage because when you feel good physically and mentally, you can experience, enjoy, and accomplish so much more in life.

    To start with, let’s define physical health and well-being. Physical health refers to the health of your physical body as a whole. The health of your body is the health of all of its systems. Things like blood pressure, heart-rate variability, and body mass index all fall into the physical health category. Physical well-being refers to your overall optimal functioning through daily life experiences—these include healthy sleep cycles, healthy nutrition habits, proper hydration, healthy balance between activity and rest, good hygiene, healthy self-regulation (cognitive and emotion regulation habits that help you effectively manage stress), and beneficial levels of physical movement and exercise. Within the concept of physical well-being, you can also include how engaged, satisfied, and optimistic you will feel about your health now and in the future.

    Another aspect of health strongly linked to physical health and well-being is mental health and well-being. Mental health affects how human beings think, feel, and act. Mental health and well-being include emotional, psychological, and social well-being. Components of mental health generally relate to your internal experiences. These include your mood, cognition, focus, and attention, how you make choices and decisions, how you feel about yourself and your experiences, how you’re responding to challenges in your life, and how you approach and experience social or personal relationships.

    When optimal, all of these aspects of health and well-being can provide the foundations for thriving in life, and each of them is something you can co-creatively improve and optimize through intention. Physical comfort, physical ease, and feeling physically strong can all provide a baseline vibration of well-being, so intentions to manifest lasting physical wellness are beneficial on several levels. Additionally, mental health and well-being fundamentally support and empower your ability to attract and manifest what you want.

    Consider, for instance, that a baseline vibration of well-being can strongly contribute to generating and emitting coherent or orderly vibrational signals. Have you experienced a nice walk or run and felt refreshed afterward? That feeling of being refreshed is a vibration. A feeling of physical strength can help you anchor beliefs like "I am strong and I am capable." A natural conclusion of building muscle mass, strengthening your muscles, or having endurance is a feeling of physical strength and capacity. That embodied feeling of strength is one you can bring into other areas of your life because you’ve internalized an emotionally anchored belief of being strong.

    A feeling of physical wellness can help you anchor the felt belief of "I am well." Having regular experiences of being well-rested and nourished can help you maintain a felt undercurrent of being well. That felt experience of well-being can contribute to feelings of steadiness, stability, and inner security. These internalized and embodied statements of strength and well-being can support you on multiple levels. They have an energetic reality and the cognitive and emotional reality you experience.

    Positive beliefs are more than passive positive thoughts. They are embodied and encoded patterns of energy flow and metabolism. They are a way to self-express in the world and receive signals from the environment and the Universe. Internalized positive beliefs are expressed as felt positive affect. When you have internalized and embodied positive beliefs, how your body and energy field metabolize life energy, the functioning of your energy centers and meridians is highly optimal. 

    Optimal here means that the flow and metabolization of life force throughout your physical and energetic system promotes, supports, and enhances well-being on all levels—energetic, psychological, emotional, and physical. This optimal reception, metabolization, and emission of life energy ultimately translates into a life of wellness, health, satisfaction, and enjoyment.

    Health and well-being aren’t just about how you physically look and perform when in an optimal state. The felt sense of well-being vibrationally impacts other levels of being and other areas of your life. I think consistently experiencing this state of physical well-being in your life is a valuable habit to create and hold space for. You don’t have to have a well-sculpted physique to benefit from the multidimensional positive effects of physical wellness. However, prioritizing physical health and well-being has far-reaching positive effects.

    When you have physical energy, vitality, and a sense of strength as a daily lived experience, you have the strong supporting foundation needed to pursue growth, exert effort toward your dreams, and experience deep levels of enjoyment in all other areas of life. A sustained sense of vibrancy and vitality in your body means you can turn energy into action. You can move and create movement in your life. That cumulative effect of positive energy mobilizes you further on your manifestation journey. Your generalized sense of strength and well-being can translate into an embodied confidence that says, I can do this. I have the energy to do this.

    A strong foundation of physical well-being can also help you stay grounded and present as you move through the varied terrains of life and life experience. Embracing the reality of your biological existence is supported by physical well-being. Physical health and wellness make embodiment, being at ease in your body, a daily reality. They help you cultivate and keep a strong sense of connection and integration with your physical body. You develop an embodied sense that you can attract and manifest what you want from a place of grounded presence and empowerment supported by your commitment to well-being and the mobilizing effect of the positive health and wellness habits you normalize.

    According to current research and data, humans can have a very long healthspan. Healthspan is the term applied to part of a person’s life in which the individual is generally in good health. Human beings have been living for longer and longer durations. Recent findings also highlight that human biology can express health well past the 100-year mark. As evidenced by blue zones worldwide, regions across the planet where people live longer and healthier with very low rates of so-called age-related challenges past the age of 100, this longevity trend is a proven and demonstrated reality. Currently, there are six zones on the planet where people are living longer and healthier lives. These blue zones are located in Japan, Italy, Costa Rica, Greece, California, and Singapore.

    I encourage you to think about that for a moment. Think about higher and higher numbers of people in their 80s and 90s walking around flexing their muscles and masterfully doing the crane pose. This is already a reality and a potential experience that can manifest for more people who are open to that possibility and create that intention for themselves.

    One of the first tasks of manifesting optimal levels of health throughout your lifetime is challenging the common assumptions, images, and stories of the old paradigms. Some cultural or societal truths about human biology and psychology are relative. As we gain new knowledge, these truths evolve. Old age and the aging process aren’t actual things anymore.

    In the same way neuroplasticity evolved the idea that you couldn’t change or evolve your cognitions and behaviors, new knowledge in longevity research is evolving the idea of aging processes. In light of some of the discoveries, I think even aging as a concept is worth checking at the door because, at this stage in human history, there are two different types of ages scientifically being recognized: your chronological age and your biological age. These two can be different. Someone can have a chronological age of 65 but a biological age of 40, meaning their body functions as someone who is 40 years young.

    I think it’s fascinating that many of the body’s systems are like new every few years. I’m curious to see what else longevity researchers uncover about the human body’s potential as narratives about age and aging continue to evolve. If some trees can exist for hundreds and thousands of years sustained by the earth, and some mammals already live for a few hundred years, what’s possible for human beings? Since the human body can replenish, renew, and regenerate, I encourage you to consider the possibility that you can create and maintain health, strength, and fitness for your whole life.

    In the book Younger You: Reduce Your Bio Age and Live Longer, Better, Dr. Fitzgerald details how she and her team had clinical trial participants reverse their biological age by over three years in just two months. Imagine that, for a moment, joining a simple two-month program centered on healthy habits and measurably being biologically younger by three years. She also details in the book some of the perfect nutrients nature has provided, like turmeric and broccoli sprouts, that are proven to help you take epigenetic control of your long-term well-being. Would you commit to 60 days of healthy habits if it meant you could reverse your age by three years? The reversal of age isn’t the complete story either. Younger doesn’t only mean a decrease in age. It also means an increase in health throughout the systems of the body.

    Where do you get started? It starts with your vision for your health and well-being. It starts with what you believe is possible for your own healthspan and lifespan. You can envision having a physically strong, healthy, vibrant existence far into the future and attract the information, relationships, and resources you need to bring that vision to life. You can envision being empowered and resilient for the long term. You can envision a lifetime of physical and mental wellness as your daily experience.

    Imagine being in your late 70s and skiing downhill with your friends or grandchild. Imagine being in your 80s, going to the gym for an hour three times a week, and being in the best shape of your life. Imagine being on a trip in northern Italy, and you’re at a cute one-of-a-kind restaurant only to discover the chef is a vibrant 90-year-old great-grandmother who’s had that restaurant in her family for generations. What’s your picture of physical health and well-being, and how far does it extend?  

    I fully believe that the Universe co-creatively supports the fruition and proliferation of life. To me, a planet with trees that have been around for thousands of years, that generates and regenerates itself and sustains and evolves millions of species for billions of years, is a small wink and a nudge to the life-affirming and life-supporting nature of the Universe. Life supports life and vitality. Life is designed for well-being and supports constructive efforts toward realizing that reality. Lasting health and well-being are no exception.

    I invite you to reflect on the ever-renewing and regenerative nature of the natural world and see it as a loud example of life’s propensity to flourish and thrive. Under the right conditions, an untouched garden will grow wild with vibrant life in months, attracting and sustaining all manners of wildlife. The mounting scientific evidence for how physical exercise and practices like mindfulness, gratitude, and loving-kindness meditations add to an individual’s healthspan is further evidence of how the mechanisms for health and well-being are many. Life adds to life. Life increases life. Life supports health-full living.

    The cosmos and Universal Intelligence are a vastly creative expanse of life-supporting and life-enhancing solutions. Do you want to improve your physical health and well-being? Do you want to improve your mood or cognitive habits? Do you want to increase your felt sense of strength? Do you want to reach new levels of felt wellness and have that be your baseline for the rest of your life? Solutions abound in the world and in the Quantum Field. Endless creative solutions exist; many more are ready to be dimensionalized into the material domain. At whatever level and scale the desire for physical improvement, betterment, or growth is needed, life has all that is needed to make that improvement a reality.

    Remarkable, astounding, and inexplicably wondrous answers reside in the hum of cosmic expansion. Many solutions have been thought of, invented, and created. Each solution is designed to improve your health and wellness experiences. I still find and discover new inspiring information about the possibilities for achieving lasting health and well-being.
