About this ebook

We all have so much to shed during the spring season. This is especially the case of a chronically ill person. We seem to have a lot of extra baggage anyways with our pain and fatigue. Therefore, it can be hard to be upbeat and inspired without becoming mindful ad set an intention to do so.

Start with things in your immediate environment. Are there things you can shed, such as old newspapers, books in the corner, or old stuff that no longer serves us? Can we donate stuff to the Goodwill or Thrift shop? There’s an old expression, if you tidy up your physical environment, sometimes it’s a bit easier to declutter things inside of you, such as your attitudes and habits.

In this e-book, I will outline and examine fifteen new habits to be your best and sprint into spring. These habits, when learned and mindfully practiced, can do a great deal to ensure you roll into sprint into spring in a resilient and confident manner.

    About the Author

    Introduction

I have been wanting to write a book about springtime renewal for the chronically ill for a long time. This is such a time of replenishment and hope. Yet for a person who is living with a chronic condition or two, life can be an uphill battle. Everything is difficult even though nature is becoming alive. As a result, we feel inspired to be more and do more but our energy levels sag.

The buds are forming on the trees and shrubs, signaling new life. Birds are chirping outside my window. I even saw a few cardinals in my cedar trees for the first time yesterday. They have been singing and chirping to each other. There is nothing as lively as cardinals to grace our spring landscape. But is it enough to grace a chronically ill person’s life?

There is so much to say that’s positive about spring, such as longer days, warmer temps, sunnier mornings, warmer breezes, backyards that are beckoning decluttering and cleaning up, garages need to be decluttered, and other stuff keeps hanging over our
