    Introduction

    Hello everyone! I’m Mridu Parikh, and this is Motivated Mindset: Kick Procrastination to the Curb, a course from Scribd. Thank you for joining me.

    How often do you have goal or know you should do something but lack the motivation to get started? This probably happens too often, am I right? Trust me, I get it. We're only human and have a lot on our plates. But, still it would be great to be able to move on tasks or projects well before they get procrastinated and feel heavy and overwhelming, eventually causing some major stress in our lives.

    In my work, I have seen many different patterns of thoughts and beliefs when I talk to my awesome clients. I’ve even seen these patterns in myself, and it’s shown me that all procrastination is a lot easier to tackle than it often seems. In this course, I’ll discuss what procrastination really is, what it isn’t, why you do it, and most importantly, give you easy peasy strategies to stop it from happening. Along the way, we’ll learn some powerful techniques to keep you motivated when times get hard.

    As a productivity coach, speaker, former perfectionist (actually I’m still working on that one), and founder of Life Is Organized, I have taught thousands of women simple ways to wake up with a plan…take control of their distractions…and drop overwhelm with ease. Results include tripling time for strategy, doubling revenue, and making space for self-care.

    I’m also the author of the Amazon bestseller, Accomplish It, and the host of the Productivity on Purpose podcast. My techniques on mastering tasks and habits have been featured in Forbes, The Huffington Post, US News & World Report, and Real Simple, as well as my own column in The Tennessean.
