Hello everyone! I’m Mridu Parikh, and this is Organized Intention: 3 Disciplines for Total Control of Your Day,
a course from Scribd. Thank you for joining me; I am pumped that you’re here, and I know you’re in for a game-changer.
In my podcast episodes, courses, public speaking engagements, and best-selling book, my primary audience is smart, capable, and driven women business owners. If you are among that crowd, you may wonder, If I am in fact smart, and capable, and driven
—and, by the way, yes, you are!— then why am I always so overwhelmed?
I’ve learned that the women in my audience are typically the kind of people who are doing all the things, for all the people, all the time. The demands on our time can easily leave us feeling overloaded, overstretched, anxious, and unable to reach our most important goals. It is so easy to approach our day reactively, responding to demands from others as they arise, putting out fires, and juggling the most urgent tasks.
Is that a problem you can relate to? You may feel like you’re either drowning or paralyzed by confusion and overwhelm. It’s not fun, and you don’t deserve to feel that way. You have worked so hard to be where you are today, and you deserve to reap the rewards of that hard work and have the feeling of satisfaction that comes with moving forward in the direction you set. Take a deep breath because you’re exactly who I had in mind when I created this audio course.
My purpose is to help you gain total control of your day, so that you spend it proactively instead of reactively.
