About the book and the author
In this fascinating book, which is based on fact and not fiction, the author examines a world that is unseen to us, but just as real as ours. It is about angels and demons, the good and the evil of the spiritual world. There are many questions answered, revealing such information as the fact that angels do not marry; do not reproduce after their own kind; are neuter, which means neither male nor female; nor do they ever die. Come and find out how they came to be, what they do in time, and what their eventual end is. We might as well know about them, for they are all around us all the time!
This is the author’s twelfth published work in three different series.

    INTRODUCTION

What we may not often think about is that there is a realm which exists that is unseen by human beings, but which is just as real as the present world. And in that realm, there are created angelic beings, which have in fact been in existence longer than human beings. And because that realm and these created angelic beings are generally unseen, there is much mystery which surrounds the whole subject. However, the good news here is that God has not left us in the dark regarding what else He created besides us when creation took place and time began. God did not want us as human beings to speculate or fall into error in what we believe, which is why He has made known in His word all that He knew we might ask about the beings which inhabit that unseen realm. After all, God knows that one day, all human beings will also live in that same unseen spiritual realm.

In this book then, in which there are four major sections, we start by looking at some basic truths regarding these created angelic beings, which are to be seen as being all spirit beings that have access to the physical world that we inhabit as humans. We also trace these angelic beings from the time of their creation by God right up to the end of time, showing the purpose for why God created them and also their interaction with human beings throughout our history. We further speak about the three heavens which exist and that some of these angelic beings have access to.

We also look at the fact that some of the angelic beings can be referred to as good, while the rest of the angelic beings are definitely evil, which is the opposite of good. What is important to grasp here is that these angelic beings have some relation to the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, which God established in the garden of Eden at the time of Adam and Eve - who by the way were real people, being the original pair from whom the whole of the human race derives its existence. In other words, the existence of good angels and evil angels has their basis in the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, and we will see why.

Our purpose here is not to speculate, but only to seek to be true to the truth which God has already made known to us. There are enough books, television programs, and movies which present distorted versions of this mysterious world so that my purpose is not to add to that confusion. To give some examples of the truths to be found in the book here, as compared to the error filling the minds of some, is that all angelic beings, whether good or evil, exist forever once created; they are all neuter, in terms of being neither male nor female when appearing in their own domain, but always take the appearance of a male when entering our world visibly; and they do not procreate, which means there is only a set number of angelic beings, with that number being known only to God, who created them!

In the final section, we seek to clear some misconceptions or false ideas some may have in regards to the fact that God’s precious Son did appear as an angel before He took on permanent human form; also looking at the term sons of God in God’s word; and also at miracles, Providence, what is meant by ghosts, and dealing briefly with the subject of the occult, in terms of its dangers. One thing this book should do is enable us all to have a God-honoring view regarding the devil and his fallen angels. This is an important book and I pray that God will lead many to read it.

What should also be mentioned before closing this Introduction is that after completing 21 years of formal education and then spending almost 28 years working in Project Engineering in the Corporate offices of a large utility, God called His servant as a non-denominational evangelist in early 1999, then sent him out over 3000 miles, away from family and friends, to the place of service God assigned, and where His servant has been and is still serving Him as evangelist, counselor, author, and publisher. The author is a widower with three adopted children, now married.

A website has been established for the purpose of interacting with readers, which can be found at:

God also led His servant to establish another website specifically for gospel ministry, since the author is an evangelist. That website can be found at:

    http://www.servantofmosthigh.com

And now my prayer is that God will richly bless you as you read this book, and that He will greatly minister to your every need in your life, as only God can! To Him be all praise, honor, and glory!

Angels are God’s external helpers, while The precious Holy Spirit is God’s internal Helper, to us as believers while we are yet on earth!

    SECTION ONE

    _________________________________________

INTRODUCTORY TRUTH TO GRASP ABOUT ANGELIC BEINGS

The need to understand the three heavens in relation to the present earth, as a starting point

One important place to begin is with the three heavens, which God makes known in His word, the Bible. The reason for this is that God needed a place for the angels to inhabit after their creation, same as God first brought the earth into existence for us to inhabit before He set about creating human beings. And what is critical for us to see at the outset here is that two of the three heavens are part of God’s creation, while the third Heaven is God’s own eternal and uncreated dwelling place. What this means is that the third Heaven has always existed, while the first and second created heavens only came into existence at the time God brought the earth and human beings into existence at creation. This is also when time began to be recorded.

God makes this first and second created heavens known to us when He states it as a fact in the very first verse of His word to mankind, noting what He there tells us at Genesis 1:1, In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Please note the truth God makes known to us here, namely that in the beginning, which is when God started His creation and when time began, the first thing which God brought into existence through creation is the heavens, followed by the earth. And when God says here, the heavens, it is obvious that the word is plural, meaning more than one.

But one might ask: How do we know that only two are in view here, as in a first and second created heaven as stated above? The answer is twofold here. On the one hand, we know that there are only three heavens from the fact that God speaks of His own eternal and uncreated abode as the third Heaven, noting what God tells us at 2 Corinthians 12:2-4, [2] I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago — whether in the body I do not know, or out of the body I do not know, God knows — such a man was caught up to the third heaven. [3] And I know how such a man — whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, God knows — [4] was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which a man is not permitted to speak. The important truth to remember for our present purpose, relating to what God says here, is that the word Paradise at verse 4 is not synonymous with the third Heaven at verse 2, as where God dwells, but rather is to be seen as being within the third Heaven. A study of the words Paradise, city, and Jerusalem would reveal that it is actually the same as the city coming from the third Heaven to earth, which God speaks about at Revelation 21:10, where He says to us, And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God… The word heaven here has the third Heaven in view, as being God’s dwelling place.

And coming back to our earlier question of how do we know there are only two created heavens in view in the word heavens at Genesis 1:1? The second part of the answer is that on the other hand one would find this out through doing a study of the word heaven and heavens in the whole of the Bible, which study the author has also completed. Such a study of these words reveals that only these three heavens are ever spoken of by God, namely the first and second created heavens, plus the third Heaven, as God’s eternal and uncreated dwelling place.

Some important truths to remember about these three heavens here is that all three are real and literal places, not imaginary in any way, even though only the first created heaven is visible to the human eye. In other words, even though the first created heaven is always seen associated with the present earth, which can be seen by the human eye, does not make it more real and literal than the second created heaven and the third Heaven, which are unseen to the human eye, being part of the spiritual realm. After all, the mention of a literal human being caught up to the third Heaven at 2 Corinthians 12:2 above proves that it is real and literal, for how could a real and literal person enter an imaginary place?

And relating to the fact that the first created heaven in God’s word is the heaven which is always seen associated with the earth and human beings, being part of the same creation, is based on what God tells us in such passages as Isaiah 13:10, where we read, For the stars of heaven and their constellations will not flash forth their light; the sun will be dark when it rises and the moon will not shed its light. And so we note that the first created heaven above the earth contains all which can be seen by man on earth, such as the stars, the sun, the moon, and whatever else has been discovered by man to be in that first created heaven, such as the planets and other objects such as meteors and comets.

Then relating to the fact that the second created heaven is indeed a spiritual place that is unseen to the human eye, we are to note that it was first brought into existence by God as part of His original creation because it was to be the place God’s angelic beings were to inhabit. When God first created the angelic beings they were sinless, that is without sin, and were to inhabit the second created heaven. Since angelic beings are spirit beings, then the second created heaven must be a spiritual realm, which cannot be seen by the human eye. So just as the first created heaven is associated with the earth and human beings and can be seen; the second created heaven is associated with angelic beings, and with God’s own eternal and uncreated dwelling place, and cannot be seen.

However, as we will see later on, there came a day when some of the angelic beings sinned against God, same as the first man and woman did. The leader of the angelic beings who rebelled against God became the devil, who was named Satan. This was only mentioned here in order to understand one passage of God’s word where God mentions the second created heaven in relation to the devil at Revelation 12:7-9, where we read, [7] And there was war in heaven, Michael and his angels waging war with the dragon. The dragon and his angels waged war, [8] and they were not strong enough, and there was no longer a place found for them in heaven. [9] And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. The second created heaven is to be seen as being in view at both verses 7 and 8 in the word heaven, with the event described here taking place at a time yet future, which will be during the seven year time of judgment that is coming on the earth from God, as we will see later on.

And it is important to keep in mind as we continue that not only the third Heaven continues for all eternity, being uncreated and eternal, but the first and second created heavens also go on for eternity after having been brought into existence by God! And one critical truth to grasp and keep in mind while reading this book is that since the third Heaven is God’s Home, and since God is Holy, in that nothing sinful or unholy can ever stand in His Presence in Heaven, then it follows that nothing evil or sinful can ever be found, nor ever enter, into the third Heaven!

Knowing when the angelic beings were created by God and their condition at the time of creation

The next important truth to know about angelic beings is that they were actually created by God before He created mankind. In order to see this, we need to look at the first three chapters of Genesis in God’s word. There we find that God mentions the creation of mankind and what can be seen by mankind in the first created heaven, but does not mention the creation of angelic beings. What this means then is that their being brought into existence by God needs to be inferred from the information God does supply us. For instance, let us note what God says at Genesis 1:31 to Genesis 2:1,2, [1:31] God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day. [2:1] Thus the heavens and the earth were completed, and all their hosts. [2] By the seventh day God completed His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done." What is clear here is that by the end
