INTRODUCTION

You may be wondering what I mean when I speak about the new world that is coming upon the earth. One thing which is absolutely sure is that there is a new world, completely different from the present one, which is coming on this earth. And believe it or not, it could even begin during the lifetime of one reading this!

To begin with, this new world that is coming upon the earth is to be seen as a work which God will do! In other words, God is going to so totally change this world physically that it will be unrecognizable from what it is today. Secondly, up to now, since creation took place and time began, there has never been a human being who has ever been able to tell what the future holds, or what the future will look like. That has been an area which God has always reserved for Himself. In other words, only God knows what will happen tomorrow and what the future holds, or what the world will look like in the future. And so what we know about this new world can only come from what has already been revealed by God in His word, the Bible. What this means then is that there will not be any speculation on my part in writing about this new world that is coming upon the earth. In other words, I cannot write as if it were a fictional account. I will only seek to be guided by God in setting forth the truth of what He has already disclosed, knowing that this is what He desires to do, simply because He is The One Who directed His servant to write this book.

And this brings up a third truth here, which is that since God has already revealed this new world that is coming in His word, then we can be sure that it will happen exactly as God says it will, simply because everything else God has ever said about a future time or event has always turned out exactly as He said it would! All Biblical prophecy is simply God telling mankind what the future holds before it happens. And in this sense, what God has said about this new world to come upon this earth can indeed be regarded as Biblical prophecy, which will also be fulfilled in the same way.

Then fourthly, we are to be aware that this new world we will be talking about in this book may not be that far in the future! What is to be grasped here is that it may not be any further than seven years from the time that one is reading this! This last statement will be understood more readily by those who have already read book 3 in this series, although please do not fear if you have not read that book, since I will be approaching this subject as if you had not read any of my previous books. The statement that has just been made about this new world not possibly being more than seven years away will be explained later in the book.

And a fifth truth which can be shared about this new world to come upon this earth is that it will be the most wonderful world imaginable, short of Heaven. To many people now living, this present earth is a living hell. However, to those who will have a part in this new world to come, it will be as if it were Heaven on earth! Just to give you some idea here, there will not be any war whatsoever between nations on earth in this new world that is coming. Many have sought peace in their lifetime, both on a personal basis and in the world, and some have even made it their life work, however, in this new world that is coming there will be lasting peace, not only between man and man, but also between mankind and the wild animals!

You may have read so far and one question which may have come to your mind is: What does this have to do with me? In other words, why should I be interested in this new world that is coming? By all present appearances, based on the truths shared in my third book about our now being in the last days, is that some of those reading this may have a part in this new world that is coming upon the earth! And please keep in mind here that we are talking a world that is coming upon this present earth during time, therefore, we are not talking about Heaven here, which has to do with the afterlife following one’s death, of one who believes in God.

And one last thing which should be mentioned here is that I have been led of God to only call this "an introduction, since what God has revealed about this new world to come is when it will be, thereafter only giving us glimpses here and there in His word of what" this new world will be like. The full disclosure of what it will be like will not be realized until it has come upon those who will be part of it at the time that it does come upon this earth. And now let us read on with anticipation of what God has in store for us!

But before we do so, one last task is necessary before bringing this Introduction to a close, which is to let the reader know a little about the author. We are all curious by nature, so a few brief details are here in order.

I have had a personal relationship with God for over 34 years now, which is by far the best event that has ever happened in my life! At John 5:24, God’s precious Son, Jesus Christ, tells us that anyone who believes in Him has "eternal life, and as a result will never experience God’s judgment, but such a one has passed out of death into life."

After completing 21 years of formal education and then spending almost 28 years working in project engineering in the corporate offices of a large utility, God called His servant as an evangelist in early 1999, then sent him out over 2000 miles away from family and friends, to the place of service God assigned, and where His servant has been and is still serving Him.

It has also been my great pleasure to write, under God’s guiding Hand, nine Commentaries on books of the Bible, with some of these Commentaries taking from 3 to 4 years each to complete. Also, there have been over 535 Devotional Commentaries on portions of the Bible, including more than 100 studies on various subjects encountered in the Bible. The foregoing work has been the foundation material that God has used in His servant’s counseling ministry these last 20 years, and also the background information for giving the sermon in a local church for 52 Sundays over a period of almost five years. And now God is using much of this material as background for the writing of the first four books, and now also this one. All of this is to the glory of God alone, for the author knows full well that apart from God’s grace and power, he cannot do anything that will last for time and eternity!

The author was widowed in 1994, his one and only wife having died of cancer at a young age. When the author married his wife, she herself was a widow of two years, with three children. At the time of our marriage the children were 9, 12, and 15 years old respectively. The author did adopt the children, who have since gone on to each marry a Christian spouse, and then for each of these couples to have two children each.

CHAPTER ONE

GOD ALREADY DID HAVE A NEW WORLD ON THIS EARTH BEFORE THIS PRESENT WORLD CAME TO BE!

This may be hard for one to grasp at first, especially since this present world is the only one any of us have ever known. Nevertheless, it is true that there was a world which existed before God brought the present world in which we now live into being. This previous new world started at the time of Adam and existed during his lifetime and right up until the worldwide flood which took place on earth, which was at the time of Noah. And what would be helpful here is noting what we read first at 2 Peter 2:4,5 in part:

"[4] For if God… [5] did not spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah, a preacher of righteousness, with seven others, when He brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly…"

As can be seen here, God does speak about an ancient world, one which existed before the present one, also letting us know about a worldwide flood, which also took place at that time. Another passage which would be helpful to note here is 2 Peter 3:5,6, where we read:

"[5] For when they maintain this, it escapes their notice that by the word of God the heavens existed long ago and the earth was formed out of water and by water, [6] through which the world at that time was destroyed, being flooded with water."

And what is also critical to grasp here is that before this worldwide flood, conditions on earth were far different from what they are today. For instance, in those days men and women lived to be close to a thousand years and there were dinosaurs on earth. However, after the worldwide flood, conditions on earth changed drastically, so that the dinosaurs disappeared, with only some of their skeletal remains being still with us today in various parts of the world, so as to prove to us that these large animals really did exist, or else we would not believe it.

However, once this worldwide flood came upon the whole earth as part of the judgment of God against an unbelieving mankind of those days, important changes were brought about by God in that He changed the length of time men and women were to live on this earth. For instance, God tells us that the oldest man of the days before this worldwide flood was Mathuselah, noting here what God says of him at Genesis 5:25-27:

"[25] Methuselah lived one hundred and eighty-seven years, and became the father of Lamech. [26] Then Methuselah lived seven hundred and eighty-two years after he became the father of Lamech, and he had other sons and daughters. [27] So all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred and sixty-nine years, and he died."

And so we see that Mathuselah lived to be almost a thousand years before he died, but then that was before the worldwide flood. What we now need to observe is what God told the people of Noah’s day at Genesis 6:3,5-7,11-14,17, just before He brought the worldwide flood as a judgment on unbelieving mankind of those days, especially noting His changing the length of time man was to live on the earth after the flood compared to before the worldwide flood of those days:

"[3] Then the Lord said, "My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, because he also is flesh; nevertheless his days shall be one hundred and twenty years… [5] Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. [6] The Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. [7] The Lord said, I will blot out man whom I have created from the face of the land, from man to animals to creeping things and to birds of the sky; for I am sorry that I have made them… [11] Now the earth was corrupt in the sight of God, and the earth was filled with violence. [12] God looked on the earth, and behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way upon the earth. [13] Then God said to Noah, The end of all flesh has come before Me; for the earth is filled with violence because of them; and behold, I am about to destroy them with the earth. [14] Make for yourself an ark of gopher wood; you shall make the ark with rooms, and shall cover it inside and out with pitch… [17] Behold, I, even I am bringing the flood of water upon the earth, to destroy all flesh in which is the breath of life, from under heaven; everything that is on the earth shall perish."

We therefore see from this passage of God’s word that God did look upon mankind in the world of those days and He could see that man had corrupted his ways on the earth, so that the thoughts and intent of man’s heart was only evil continually, which resulted in the earth being filled with violence. This resulted in God bringing a worldwide flood on the earth, as part of His judgment on an unbelieving world, so that all mankind of those days, including all the animals of earth, which included the dinosaurs, died in the worldwide flood.

Now we do need to remember here that God always keeps a witness of Himself through a believing seed among mankind, so that mankind might retain some knowledge of God and also how one can come into a personal relationship with Him. At the time of the flood, that believing seed on earth was Noah and his three sons, and their wives, eight people in all, whom God kept alive in the ark, along with only the animals that God wanted to have on earth after the flood, for it is from these, these eight people and the animals in the ark that God repopulated the earth with after the worldwide flood.

What is also important to notice from verse 3 above is that God did say that mankind would subsequently be limited to 120 years on the earth, for God determined that this would be long enough to give a person the opportunity to turn to Him in faith and believe in Him before physical death came. What this teaches us here is that God has the power to change conditions on earth at will, relating to all that is in existence. Just to give us some examples here, we are to be aware that before the flood mankind ate only plants and fruits, while all other creatures on earth ate only plants, with none of them eating any meat or even fish, until after the flood, which has carried on into our present day. And here we would benefit in reading what God said to mankind at verse 29, followed by what then applied to all other creatures on earth at verse 30, which was before the flood, noting what we read at Genesis 1:29,30:

"[29] Then God said, "Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree which has fruit yielding seed; it shall be food for you; [30] and to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the sky and to every thing that moves on the earth which has life, I have given every green plant for food; and it was so.

The important truth to keep in mind here, therefore, is that God has the power to change conditions on earth as He sees fit, which would be in accordance with the eternal plan that He is outworking in time affecting all mankind and all other creatures of earth, noting what God tells us at Isaiah 46:10,11, in part:

"[10] Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things which have not been done, saying, 'My purpose will be established, and I will accomplish all My good pleasure'; [11] …Truly I have spoken; truly I will bring it to pass. I have planned it, surely I will do it."

As we continue, let us be aware that with God all things are possible (noting Matthew 19:26), and therefore to bring about a new world to serve His purpose for mankind in time is
