INTRODUCTION

While reading God’s word the other day, it suddenly dawned on me that this present earth was never meant by God to be the believer’s home! In other words, when God brought this present creation into being at the beginning of time, we read in the very first verse of God’s word, at Genesis 1:1, In the beginning God created the heavens and THE EARTH. And then in the rest of that first chapter of Genesis we read how God created all that is in existence in the first and second created heavens, and also on this one original earth that we are now on, doing so during the first six days of creation, before resting on the seventh day.

Then when we read at Revelation 21:1, at the other end of the Bible, Then I saw a new heaven and A NEW EARTH; for the first heaven and THE FIRST EARTH PASSED AWAY, and there is no longer any sea, we come to realize that God has a new earth there in view, which we come to learn is for those who come to personally know Him in salvation during the four ages of time. But what I had never realized until the other day is that God knew, even before He brought this original earth into being at the beginning of time, that He never intended believers to remain on this original earth, which is sometimes a truth that we do not often think of as believers, or even hear about. And it is now this truth that we will be looking into in this very interesting and intriguing book!

What should also be noted at the outset is that there is an Addenda at the back of the book, with five sections. In Addendum A, there is a brief outline of the four ages of time, for any reading the book who might not be familiar with this information. Then in Addendum B, there is a brief outline of the two comings from Heaven to earth in time of God’s Son, The Lord Jesus Christ, for any who may not be familiar with this information either. In Addendum C, we have a detailed look at God’s new creation in time, for which God does eventually create a new earth for! Then at Addendum D, we have a detailed look at where the city that God is building for believers will eventually be over this earth! And then at Addendum E, we have a presentation of the gospel, which is the good news that God gives in His word regarding His Son, The Lord Jesus Christ, for any readers who might not have as yet this vital personal relationship with God, through faith in His Son.
