About this audiobook

"Look at me," he says. "Look at me when I touch you."

It's near impossible to ignore my vampire neighbor, Bran Duval, when he has a habit of shucking off his clothes while the blinds are up. He's playing games with me, but I don't mind a challenge.

Only problem is, I'm supposed to pledge myself to a rival vampire family and now all I can think about is Bran Duval, black sheep of the Duval vampire family, and the wicked things he's promising to do to me in the dark.

NOTE: Hot Vampire Next Door is first and foremost a Kindle Vella serial. This version is a boxset of episodes 1-18. It is considered ongoing and does not have a scheduled end date. You can expect high heat, lots of twists, and a vampire who realizes he might be a little more protective of his little mouse than he first realized.

Please check the author's website for CWs/TWs.

SPOILER: I will not consider this book to be the best because Jessie could have gotten the answer she was looking for if she put the effort in confronting her sister. So the story basically tested my patient. ?‍?

The FMC was kind of annoying and immature…maybe that is part of her arc. But you can tell that the author is a fan of true blood. The world building is very similar. From the supernaturals and how they interact to the way Fae blood gets vampires drunk/high….and vampire bloods affect on humans is similar as well. St. Crowe is a much better writer than Charline Harris though. I couldn’t stand Harris’ books. The series was so much better.

This is trash. I would give half a star if I could.

Nikki St. Crowe can write amazing smut with a decent plot. This had me captivated from the start. There is a mystery that needs solving. Jesse has a love-hate relationship with her hot, vampire next-door neighbor, Bran. She loves to pretend that she hates him. But he's the only one she can trust to help her uncover the secrets her family has been keeping about her.

The supernatural system of order is interesting. The town is literally its own place outside of the rest of the world. It's fascinating. I cannot wait to read season two!

Loved the story but just at the end it glitched and I missed a whole chapter

It’s missing a few seconds here and there. But it was good
