I loved the series until I got to this book, the characters, the storyline etc, but this one left me confused with the timeline constantly switching back in history and forth to present. One or two flashbacks I'm fine with but this was so often and from every character that it was extremely confusing. I just kept feeling confused over what happened and when, hearing something reference that I don't remember reading etc. I'm going to listen to it again, maybe I won't be so lost feeling like I missed a book in the series or like some explanations are missing. I'll update my review after.
