Great start to the series. I can’t wait to hear what happens next. It's always nice to see an Author add some strong women to a series. It’s refreshing that their characters aren’t ‘all for 1 and 1 for all’. I love their strength and compassion.

The Hunted by SB Alexander is an enemies-to-lovers paranormal romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Blake Lockheart and Cecily Foster. This is the first book in the Vampire Navy SEAL: Sam & Layla series.

This is the second series of Susan's that I have read and it won't be my last. I am really enjoying the slow burn relationship between Sam and Layla. I liked that we got both of their points of view throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

The book ends on a cliffhanger which wasn't a surprise since it's the first book in the series. I can't wait for the next book The Predator to be released on April 19, 2022

Blake and Cecily did a great job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to reading more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like enemies-to-lovers romance, paranormal romances, military romances, slow burn romances, or romantic suspense.
