My, oh my! THE BES T audiobook about vampires, demons, shifters, and humans they love. SHANE EAST has the perfect voice. SARAH piper rocks.

Wanted to love it, the story is good, but I can't get over the narration. What is the point of having both a male and female narrator if they are both doing the male and female lead voices? One chapter is read by the male narrator, he does all parts, the next chapter, the female narrator does all the parts. Why? And the male narrator doing the female parts makes her sound weak and pathetic. That's an automatic no for me. I am not able to finish the first book.

MFC is quick to be intimate with MMC no slow burn here, then has the nerve to pass judgement on the MMC because he’s a vampire… when she’s a thief staking out his home to rob him. I’m pretty far in the book and It’s looking like this will be a DNF. The MFC just isn’t likable. I am trying to find something to like about her and there’s not a lot. She’s nice to her sister so she has that going for her but not enough to keep me reading.

Loved this story, loved the narrator's, loved the characters! Passion, intrigue, suspense! This book had it all and I love a story with a different twist, the plot thickens and I can't wait to start book 2!

I loved the conception of this book and the potential dynamic between the two characters.

Unfortunately, I had to DNF this at 40%. I enjoyed where the story could have gone but every time it had the chance it reverted to the characters how they wanted to rip each other's clothes off. Dorian really gave off good potential book boyfriend vibes but I couldn't fall in love with him because there was no depth to the story.
