The beginning of this book had me captivated, but as the story went on I found myself getting upset with the relationships between characters. There were way too many love interests in this story, and you end up forgetting what the plot actually is. Danielle gets so sidetracked by finding her “true mate” that that’s all she focuses on. Not family, her powers, or the madman who’s hunting her and killing children. The book was entertaining up until boyfriend #3 out of about 5. It wasn’t realistic at all. I won’t be continuing this series.

Might as well be a reverse harem, but not fully committed to it. She sleeps with everyone and no explanation for the story overall, very loose plotline. Same thing happens 4 or 5 times, kidnapping-- sex-- different man. A boyfriend, a random barman, 3 vampires, a random human doctor-- and no really reason as to why. The first portion of the book is better paced than the middle or the end. I'd rather have found out the story of Tessa and Grayson than this.

My Thoughts

You know a book is good when you share the emotion the characters are feeling. Well I did just that it was like I felt everything Dani ( Danielle) AKA Soleil felt throughout this whole story. Cat as created a wonderful cast of characters. Characters that you will love and adore and other well ok we will say despise. I know there was a few characters that I would like to kick their ass lol.

Our journey is with Dani ( Danielle) AKA Soleil Vaughn (Scott). For 19 yrs she lived her life a plain human with just here mom. The day before college she started showing signs of her fathers genes only she was not aware of that at the time. So goes off to college hours away from home and her life is turned upside down and she is thrown into a world she did not even know existed. She has men that flock to her and she can not figure out why but when the truth comes out her life ends up in danger. Can she escape the danger and end up with the man of her dreams the one that holds her heart and soul.

Cat will leave you sitting on the edge of your seat with all the twist and turns that she throws at us. This story is like a roller coaster ride the one that you can not get enough of and want to keep standing in line to do it again. So be prepared to be enthralled.

I was literally blown away by this book. I could not for the life of me put this book down. I stayed up and read it until I was to tired, then had to get up early and read the ending. What a ending at that! It will leave you with a cliffhanger! So you need to brace yourself for an awesome and exceptional journey!

This book is about Danielle Vaughn who only knows her mother, but not her father. She heads off to college and finds herself drawn to Chase and Cayden. What makes it worse is that she has a boyfriend at home named Lucas! Love Triangle! How we love those!! After a couple of weeks at college, she discovers more of herself and that it is her fate to help the society of people who would banish or kill her. Does she dare to revel herself and her mother? Will they accept her? I give this book a 5 star review! I loved this writing and the story! I'm very impressed!
