Good story but narration was ok. Their opposite sex voices were horrible, and whenever he did her voice the accent was horrible. Sounded like Elmer Fud, a stereotypical new jersey gangster, and some who is just learning english all mixed togetger.

Loved the story, lost a star for the male voice. Stilted and unnatural. Some scenes sounded like a fourth grader reading aloud in class, word by word, without flow or inflection.

Was there so much sex or unrealistic sex that you rolled your eyes and/or skipped forward? Just one scene with for or more orgasms.

The back story... The h is frustrated after returning home from hiding for the previous 11 years and continuously butts heads with her protector... The H.

The Romance... Builds once the start talking and listening to each other.

The drama explosion... Omar makes his move.
Did it feel real or contrived? Started out real, then... Ugh!
Was it OTT? Completely
Separation involved? Yes
Was it resolved properly or rushed? Impossibly beyond belief!

Final Notes... This was a solid 4.5 or potentially a 5 Star review from me until the ending sequence. Omar raped his first princess to get what he wanted yet he is willing to wait days, then until marriage with the h? That is not the way this psychopath works. The stand-off was OTT but okay until it had to continue on? It should have ended right there.

I really like the way the author pulls you into the story and I rarely find myself skipping forward. I skipped through the majority of the three chapters (and apparently 3 days) after the h was captured and missed nothing. It was just too much filler that was intended to build suspense but it just drove me crazy.

Yeah, I will definitely read the next book in the series as I do like this author and the storyline!
