I loved the first book, but this, the second book in the series, was not good. The redemption I wanted fell flat. I actually ended up jumping forward because I was hoping to find some plot point that would make me fall back in love with many of the characters. Alas, I did not. In book one, I was cheering for the characters. In this book, I found myself losing interest and despising the characters. It just moved so slow and then time jumped after introducing bizarre plot twists that never developed. It was so frustrating.
