About this audiobook

Anika Johnson likes to tell herself she already has it all: a successful gallery, a photography gig that more than pays the bills, and a really cute cat. But the truth is, she's fallen into a rut — and not just creatively.

When famous thriller writer Jason Washington hires her for a mysterious open-ended "consultation," she's intrigued, but wary. He's offering the kind of creative project she's been hungry for for months, but she knows that she's attracted to more than just his proposal. He's just too talented for her to resist working with him—but too handsome for her to resist, period. If they let this passion project get the better of them, will it ruin the fulfilling partnership that's been so good for both their careers?

With talented professionals fighting an undeniable chemistry, A Loving Perspective is a steamy contemporary romance you won't want to miss.

It was just ok. It was all over the place. No back story on why she is the way she is. It was a lot of confusion.

The main character was entirely too selfish and the reader is not right for the genre.

Great start, abrupt ending. It had great character development, the drama begins, and then it just stops. I dont know, the ending just didnt feel right.

My favorite part of “A Loving Perspective” was the bantering, mystic and charisma of the two principal characters Anika & Jason, yet aloof. Honestly though, my initial impressions after reading the first couple of chapters weren’t encouraging. However, now in retrospect I understand why Anika had reservations about dating (or not), relationships and her profession. Kudos to (Ms Elle Driver) Anika for her preferences and articulating her desires! Everyone is not meant to know (handle) all of your complexities. …Fortunately, both Anika & Jason found fulfillment in each other!! Not disappointed (Surprised-lol),but definitely not disappointed in this literary experience.

I liked how the story was building but once the couple got together the issues presented felt rushed and brought in out of no where. I think the story was good and narration was on point

I thought this story was interesting however the audio editing is off. Several times the reader is heard repeating the same line as if she re-recorded the audio but did not edit it out.

It was a dry story….a lot of dialogue with a lot of unnecessary descriptive words used. There was a romance story, but to me it seemed one side without compromise. It seemed that Jason was also doing what Anika wanted and how Anika wanted.
