About this audiobook

Despite her own dumpster fire of a love life, Calista Franklin is a hopeless romantic. Unfortunately, her life is filled with an amount of busy that precludes her from dating and finding Mister Right. Her best friend’s sudden nuptials, however, place an unexpected opportunity for love within arm’s reach.

Kirk Langley is suddenly thrust into being a single parent upon the untimely demise of his brother and sister-in-law. Balancing caring for his six year old niece in addition to running his own business leaves little time for dating. But when his closest friend drops the bomb that he’s getting married, Kirk’s forced to spare some time to get to know the maid of honor.

Neither were looking for love, but their close proximity during the wedding planning process draws Calista and Kirk close, allowing them to find in the other what they didn’t know was previously missing.

Editor's Note

Family, Friendship, and Falling in Love...

Falls’ books are like being wrapped in a warm hug while you cry. “Last First Kiss” sparkles with joy, friendship, and plenty of straight talk. Calista, the heroine, is a great BFF to her friend, who’s suddenly found the one — which means spending time with the best man, who’s a single dad due to his sibling’s unexpected death. Laughter, tears, sexy times, and a great community make “Last First Kiss” a delight.

Though “Last First Kiss” started off very slowly, it finished strong. The characters were likable and the storyline was engaging. This is a great audiobook - the narrators did a good job. I recommend this one for sure. Final rating: 4.25/5 stars.

Nope. Can't do this one. Seriously?! "Revolving door of dingalings" and letting a man "catch a wiff" in the same discussion with tacos is too weird for me. It lost me in the first, maybe five minutes. Call me picky, but I can't risk my ears any further lol.

I loved the storyline. I loved also how they evolved into a romantic relationship. Later, becoming man and wife. I too wish this had been a series. I also would have enjoyed watching it play out in a Lifetime movie.

The simplicity of you never know what can happen or really who can come in your life and change it for the better.

This book was so cute! I love when there's minimal drama between the couple and instead focuses on how they overcome obstacles TOGETHER. A safe, fluffy, feelgood HEA.

I absolutely loved this book! Loved the full circle moments and not just because of the ending, I’m proud of the blossoming of Cali and the maturity that developed in the story overall!

I am a big fan of Ms. Falls — to the point that I already owned and have read this ebook, but jumped at the chance to get the audiobook! I am delighted to report that I am most pleased. This story is perfect for audio! True to form, Ms. Falls wrote characters that are funny, relatable, cool, and quirky (Calista and Baby Blue are my spirit animals!) that you are immediately rooting for and the narrators did a great job bringing them to life. Although this romance is a bit of a slow burn, the pacing is good and once it did commence it was the perfect combination of sweet, sexy, amusing, and touching. I dug it. Also the sex was immensely satisfying and worth the wait — again, the narrators worked it all the way out! I can already tell that this will be a repeat/reset listen for me.?

Very slow and uneventful. The narrators were the only reason I listened to the entire book but it was time wasted, unfortunately.
