About this audiobook

Judah has a plan for her life: get married at thirty, have a baby at thirty-two, and make partner at her law firm. So why won't her boyfriend, Sam, propose? Instead he gives her handmade paper roses for their anniversary, forcing her to dig out a sweater she knit in her knitting circle so she'll have something to give him in exchange. But as Judah's Granny always warned her, "Never, ever give a man you love a sweater, because he'll walk right out of your life."

When Sam tells her he isn't ready to get married, Judah starts to question whether Sam is really the man for her after all. It doesn't help that she's representing Steven Ratliff — handsome football star, recovering addict, and charmer — in his divorce proceedings.

Torn between her commitment to Sam and her growing attraction to Steven, Judah has to reconsider her life goals. Are either of these men worth sacrificing her plan for? Is her plan actually the most important thing? And what is she going to do about that sweater?

Hated the ending. Her attraction to the baller should have been explored more. She settled and there was nothing endearing about Sam to make us root for that. Ugh

Cute story however, the main character was a bit clueless. I also did not appreciate how the story ended. I had hoped that the main character would choose herself instead of settling.

The ending was garbage. She settled for Sam which I hate and I hate the fact that Steven had to relapse in the story. I was rooting for them as a new possible couple

I wanted to like it, but the main character wasn't very likable, the ending seems unfinished, and there is NOTHING wrong with a woman wanting commitment/marriage from her boyfriend.

Ladies, you can do better than this.

This book’s ending was horrible. There was no resolution to any of the issues that Judah had. I didn’t like this book at all.

The entire premise was stupid. The only one that compromised was Judah.

This ending was disappointing. I’ve also realized why the narrator bugs me: she reads like a newscaster so it comes off as inauthentic. I wouldn’t say DON’T read it? But I definitely did not like this book as much as the others I’ve read from this author.
