Catelynn and her adult curling team have tried to make the cut for the Beaverton bonspiel for years, so when they finally qualify, even the news of an incoming blizzard won’t stop them from going. They get to the small town of Beaverton in time to play, but when the blizzard hits, they're stuck at the curling club all weekend with the other players from around the province, including Jeff, Catelynn's high school crush. With the benefit of experience, Catelynn can now see that Jeff isn't perfect like she imagined back in her teenage days, but she still finds him magnetic. With the trophy and cash prize at stake, not to mention the blizzard outside, its hard for Jeff to find a private moment with the girl he barely remembers from back in school, but now finds hard to ignore. As the weekend goes on, they both find winning the bonspiel is growing less important to them. But as the final match draws near, they both have to determine whether they want to win a trophy or each other's hearts.
