This book was great because not only was it romantic, but included tastefully sexy scenes. The narration kept us apprised of the timeline and alternated perspective between Kayla and Greg to keep it interesting.
This story also showed us that thoughtfulness and self sacrifice will be rewarded :)
I would recommend this author and narrator. I will be looking for other books by this author.

Voice actress over sold the seductive lilt. Every word. And by Chapter 10, Kayla was coming off as just a b*tch and Greg as spineless. At one point is was downright WRONG.
I did enjoy that they made her more of a real person. She smiles, she enjoys her drinks..I also liked that they didn't waste time acting like they were into each other. No real detail about Gregs big secretive "reason" for even being there. Thats lazy storytelling. But thats about it. Lots of potential but unlikable characters in the end.

Overall, meh. Some hot scenes but mostly boring dialog and it seemed like the author was trying to check off a progressive checklist. Several plot points would have been great if they had been expanded but just fell short as written

This story was so very good and so realistic. She had never met man like him and he had certainly never met a woman like her. Two very different cultures, yet it worked beautifully. I give my sincere thanks to author for sharing this story and also kudos to the narrator for an amazing performance.
