Description

The plaintiff says she was at the hair salon and a container of bleach spilled on her very expensive bag, ruining it. She’s suing the defendant for the cost of the purse. The defendant says the pregnant plaintiff brought in food, which spilled on the bag. She claims the plaintiff sprayed it with cleanser, staining it, and tried to blame her.
The plaintiff says she was training for the Boston Marathon when the defendant’s dog viciously bit her on the back of her tricep, and the defendant yelled at her. She’s suing for medical bills, medicine, and a torn shirt. The defendant says her sweet dog was on a leash, and the plaintiff grabbed the defendant’s derriere, so the dog went into protective mode.
The plaintiff says she was driving by a golf course and a golf ball smashed her windshield. The defendant hit an errant shot, but he refuses to pay for the repairs, so she’s suing. The defendant says he didn’t do anything wrong, and he claims the plaintiff should have gone through her insurance.

For more than two decades, Milian has dispensed justice and provided legal insight in the courtroom where justice and reality collide. And now, you can take the show on the go with "The People’s Court Podcast." "The People’s Court Podcast" draws on ordinary people who have filed grievances in civil court and have opted to have their cases heard and mediated by Judge Milian. Running the gamut from disputes between neighbors and family members, to dissatisfied customers suing businesses, Milian's decisions – based on current law – are final and binding. Joining Milian is multiple Emmy Award-winning investigative reporter Harvey Levin, who serves as the series’ host and legal reporter. In the courtroom, Milian is joined by court officer Douglas McIntosh. Doug Llewelyn interviews litigants after a decision has been rendered in their cases.
