Description
Today we're joined by Meagan Chorney, mother, entrepreneur, and mental health advocate.
Meagan spent most of her life believing she had anxiety, only to discover at the age of 29 that she had been misdiagnosed. With a new diagnosis of Autism and Bipolar disorder Meagan is relearning herself and her coping mechanisms.
Today we're covering how diet, structure, and the right community can impact your mental health journey, as well as the shame that seems to follow a mental health diagnosis.
We talk about the need to advocate for yourself in our current healthcare system, the misconceptions around Bipolar disorder, and the small steps to take when wanting to make big life changes.
Meagan is committed to breaking to stigma around mental health and is doing so one conversation at a time.
