This week Amy and Aly discuss what off season means to them and how they approach the end of summer and the beginning of fall. Both agree on the importance in finding the positives and trying to embrace the changing of the seasons. Amy talks about the importance of resetting the mind and body, what she feels is the appropriate amount of time to take off and that it's different for everyone! Aly talks about how important it is to her to have structure to stay motivated to maintain fitness when not following a formal training plan leading into a race. They also share some activities they enjoy doing with their time when the number of hours of training is decreased. They open with what's been going on with them this week including Aly getting ready to take 18 month old Beth on her first flight, and Amy’s escape to the coast for the weekend.
