Description

This week Amy and Aly share their experiences with breastfeeding and pumping.  Amy talks about learning how to breastfeed her son including dealing with back pain from bad positioning, and baby having a shallow latch. Aly talks about the emotional rollercoaster she experienced the first few weeks of her daughters' life on the unexpected path to becoming an exclusively pumping mother. They talk about timing workouts around nursing/pumping and the acceptance that grew for their bodies in the postpartum stage as they knew that the only thing that mattered was fueling themselves enough to produce enough milk for their babies. Also this week Amy gets ready for Oregon 70.3, where she can’t wait to see her kids at the finish line! The episode finishes with their big mom wins for the week (Go Mama of the Week).Aly’s favorite lactation cookies linked here!!
