Description

This week Amy and Aly discuss Amy’s recent decision to officially quit her job, how that decision came about and how that ties into her goal of focusing more on triathlon and bike racing. Aly shares some of the thought process that went into the decision to stop working when Beth was born and become a full time stay at home mom. They discuss some of the challenges that stay at home parents face, especially as motivated and goal oriented individuals. They also touch on some of the things they will take into consideration when the time comes to rejoin the work force; everything from what type of jobs they’re interested in and how they hope to shift back into working full time after kids start going to school. The episode starts off with Amy sharing a bit about how her recovery from a broken collarbone is going, and Aly talks about struggling to get back into a training routine after a couple of weeks off of consistent training. It finishes with their Go Mommas of the Week!
