Description
Babies, job changes, divorce, moving, death/illness in the family, and even a burglary - in today’s episode, Emma & Beth are talking about big life changes and how they’ve been able to successfully homeschool through the death of Emma’s mom and through Beth’s divorce, among other things. Life can be very challenging, and changes (even wonderful ones like a new baby) can throw off your family’s rhythm. Changes, however, don’t mean you have to put your child in public school while life happens. Instead, you can find ways to support your child during stressful, sad, and even joyful times while homeschooling and keeping them close as you help them learn to cope with big life changes, and while you support each other as a family. Homeschooling is more about life and learning, than it is about the bookwork.
