Description

This week Amy and Aly are excited to share their first ever interview! Mother, coach, Olympic athlete, and age-group world champion, Juliet Hochman joins them to discuss her pregnancy and postpartum experience to her now 21 and 24 year old sons. After many years of being a high level athlete she was unaware of any other competitive outlets available to her following her collegiate and Olympic careers. She compares the resources that she had at the time to the resources available to women now. Juliet shares that after college even though she was no longer competing (and didn’t know if she would again) she always considered herself an athlete. She also talks about her decision to become a stay at home mom, discovering the sport of triathlon in her 40s, and the importance of encouraging kids to participate in sports. We are left with some very thought provoking and meaningful advice. This week’s episode finishes with Amy, Aly, and Juliet’s Go Mamas of the Week. You can find Juliet on Instagram @juliethochman Find us on Instagram @momsoftriathlon and send us an email at momsoftriathlon@gmail.com
