Description

This week Amy and Aly discuss how they have approached training during the holidays in the past, the present, and the future.  Amy talks about past holiday travel and how that impacts training. Aly shares the crazy workload that was expected of college swimmers and how she approaches things now as a triathlete. They talk about coordinating it to be a rest week or off season if it aligns, and how to prioritize family through it all. They top it off with training they like to do on the actual day of a holiday, like a simple run or a walk with family. In sharing weekly updates, Amy gives a unique idea for motivating a 3-year-old to get outside and Aly discusses the complications with getting a 20-month-old to sit and eat dinner. They close with their Go Mommas of the Week.
