Description
On today's episode of All in the Industry®, host Shari Bayer has a special "On the Road” episode from the 18th annual Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival, which took place from February 20-24, 2019 in South Beach, Florida. The five-day festival, which was founded by Lee Schrager, brought some of the world’s best chefs together for more than 100 unique collaborative dinners, wine tastings, beach parties and cooking demonstrations. To date, the Festival has raised more than $28 million for the Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management at Florida International University, and serves as an interactive educational platform for more than 1,200 students who help make the Festival happen each year. The festival’s mission is to EAT. DRINK. EDUCATE. Today's show features three interviews with festival participants: Matthew Accarrino, Executive Chef at SPQR in San Francisco; John Tesar, Executive Chef and Partner at Knife in Dallas, Texas, and Adeena Sussman, cookbook author, food writer, recipe and product developer and consultant based in Tel Aviv. Today's show also features Shari's PR tip, and Solo Dining experience at Joe's Stone Crab (Take-Away) in South Beach.
