Stef Bradford holds a PhD in Pharmacology and decades of strength training and competitive weightlifting experience under her belt.    Stef joins the podcast today to discuss the mental and philosophical side of training and why the term “easy doesn’t work” encapsulates the career of a lifter. As she says, “easy doesn’t work” is a catchy phrase but the idea is really “comfort doesn’t work.” The Stress/Recovery/Adaptation principle demands that we continually push out of our comfort zone or cease growing/adapting.
