Description

Today I want to talk to you about the three things, what burnout is, the symptoms of black girl burnout, and what burnout specifically means for black women. You have likely felt the impact of burnout before. It is the knots in your shoulder. It is the rock in the pit of your stomach. It's the exhaustion you feel when you must engage with a co-worker who is committing all kinds of microaggressions against you. It's the frustration of realizing that if the American dream isn't even possible for white people anymore, why am I even trying? It's the tears you hold back when you see another incident of police brutality or another verdict that just reinforces for you that the justice system was never created for black people. Let’s talk about it.
