When Allison was an athlete, she would eat lots of carbs and low fat meals. Down the road, Allison began to understand nutrition much better.  After having kids, Allison started personal training as an independent contractor.  Over the years, Allison has helped people navigate the physical and the energetic aspects of their lives.  [11:05] You Need To Listen To Your Body and Create Space For Healing  There is a vicious cycle of needing to fix things all of the time.  We are taught things like “no pain, no gain" in the fitness industry.” However, Allison says that we need to listen to our bodies and create space with ourselves.  Have more patience with yourself because the body has a unique rhythm. Tap into your body’s intelligence to allow healing to take place.  [18:30] Reacting vs. Responding: The Power of Choice Is In Your Hands There are going to be times when you react to things.  Reacting to everything in life means you are living in survival mode.  When we can take responsibility for ourselves, it will create less anxiety.  We all have the power to choose how we respond at the moment.  Have intention behind your choices and responses.  If you don’t have a choice, then you will never be able to create the life that you want.  [23:00] Clean Up Your Stinking Thinking Through Meditation and Positivity  Your thinking has been passed down from generation to generation; it’s time to break the chain!
