Hello, and welcome to this meditation for self-healing. Part of life, especially today is getting hurt. This is no problem for us usually, as our bodies have the amazing ability to heal themselves. However, our lives have become excessively filled with toxic relationships, environments, everything seeming to cause you pain, and there is no healing. Your heart seems to ache for some kindness, which it never truly receives.

This meditation will provide you with the care and kindness you deserve, allowing your aching heart the time to heal. So enjoy the journey of internal healing I take you on now, helping you to recover from any wounds you have carried for so long.

So prepare yourself for this peaceful time, to simply nurture yourself. Get yourself into a comfortable position, feel free to lie down. After all, discomfort will only inhibit your self-healing. Allow the healing energy to do its work.

Right now, there is nothing you need to worry about.

Nothing you need to think of.

    So just relax.

Allow your mind to pause and come to rest.

You may find your mind attempts to bring many different thoughts and emotions into focus. The harder we try to stop them, and completely push them away. The faster they come. So, Don’t resist these thoughts, but let them come. Let them pass through quickly, observing them from a distance, and keeping your awareness with your breath.

    (Pause)

Keep breathing, noticing your natural rhythm, depth and frequency of each breath.

Now take a deep breath in. Hold this air at the top, before breathing out slowly. Continue to breathe in this way for the next few moments.

    Inhale deeply, from your stomach.

    Exhale slowly.

Again, take a deep breath in.

    Leave a long breath out.

Here, there is nothing you need to cast your attention too.

There is no past that concerns you.

And no worries of the future.

    Just this present moment.

So enjoy all you feel right now.

    (Pause)

There is the present. Only the present. So don’t allow worries of the future to consume you.

So many of us forget to live in the current moment.

Instead, we live in the past, or the future.

Focusing on things that have already happened, that can’t be changed.

We give so much of our energy to them, that what could happen today doesn’t.

Nothing can change the past, so don’t let it have power over you.

We spend so much of our time thinking over the future.

When really we still have no control over it.

It may come, but it may not.

    There is no certainty.

So there is no use crying over it.

The most important aspect of your life, is right now.

This moment has the ability to impact your future, but only if you are truly in it.

    The next moment follows it.

    So nothing else matters more.

    The moment is now.

Do not lose this moment, to the past or future.

Bring your awareness to this moment and nothing else.

Sense everything right now. Bringing your awareness to your body. Think of its position. Are you comfortable? Make sure you are, adjusting yourself if needed. Feel free to change your position whenever you wish. Just ensure you are in the most comfortable position possible. There are no rules here, so just enjoy this moment.

Move you focus through your body now, relaxing it and making sure it is comfortable.

Notice your hands and their current position.

Gently place them by your sides, or on your chest if you wish.

Ensure they are fully supported and comfortable.

    Now, notice your neck.

How it sinks peacefully into the pillow beneath it, fully supported.

If you are sat, notice the lightness of your head, how it feels completely relaxed.

Bring your awareness to your shoulders.

Often we hold the weight of the tension we carry here, so observe how they feel.

Are they stiff and heavy? If so, move them slightly and relax.

You are safe, you are here right now, where no worries and doubts are relevant.

There is no need for stiffness, or to carry these burdens with you.

Just relax completely, and let go.

With your awareness, scan through your back and hips.

Do they feel stiff? Do they hold any pain and discomfort?

Adjust your position once again if you need, and allow relaxation in.

    So, relax.

Here, there is no place for stress.

No need to be stiff and alert.

This is a journey to healing.

You can relax and be calm.

We all experience pain and hurt.

    We all need healing.

Everyone has the ability to heal.

It is an easy, natural process.

Often, our stress and tension inhibits this process.

    But, we have the power.

In this session, we will try to use it.

    We will relax.

We will allow ourselves to be healed.

We will open ourselves up to healing.

Through this journey to mending ourselves.

    It is important to relax.

Again, there is no cause for stiffness, and no need to be alert.

Just relax and enjoy this journey, leaving pain behind.

Now, bring your awareness to your physical body.

First your body needs to heal.

So remain with your physical sensations for a moment.

Allow it to open up and relax.

    (Long Pause)

As you gather your awareness, and place it with your body.

You will most likely find, that thoughts may arise.

    Don’t let this worry you.

    This is normal.

As these thoughts emerge, whatever they may be.

Acknowledge them. Accept them. And let them pass.

Do not engage, allowing these thoughts to gain control over you.

    They aren’t important.

Now shift your focus to your breathing.

We will use it to relax you further now.

So take a deep breath in, slowly and steadily as we count to five.

1……Breathe in the cool, refreshing air.

    2……It is a natural healer.

    3……An ultimate soother.

    4……A basic need for life.

    5……One of the five elements.

The air we breathe is just not air. It is filled with a powerful, positive energy.

We are made from it. So trust in all the good it does for you.

Now hold this powerful air inside, to the count of five.

    1......Preserve it within you.

    2……Let it replace the old.

    3……Make space for the new.

    4……Rejuvenate, re-energize.

    5……Let it restore and revitalise.

Now, very slowly exhale, out through your mouth, to the count of seven.

    1……Let go of the old.

2……Expel all that doesn’t serve you.

    3……Everything that’s corroded and corrupt.

4……All that’s surpassed their time within you.

5……All that fills you with negativity and doubt.

6……Make space for new breath, for new energy.

    7……Release a little more

    And Relax!

    Now, repeat this again.

Take a deep breath in, slowly and steadily, to the count of five.

    1…..

    2…….

    3………

    4………..

    5…………..

Now, hold this air to the count of 5.

    1…..

    2…….

    3………

    4………..

    5…………..

Now, exhale slowly out through your mouth, counting to seven.

    1…..

    2…….

    3………

    4………..

    5…………..

    6……………

    7………………

    And Relax!

Now just breathe, slowly and deeply.

    Breathe in.

    Breathe out.

    And Pause.

    Breathe in

    Breathe out

    And Pause.

    Breathe in.

    Breathe out.

    And Pause.

    Breathe in.

    Breathe out.

    And Pause.

Now, allow your breathing to return to its normal rhythm.

    Feel at ease.

Enjoy the relaxing sensations it brings.

    (Long pause)

Place your focus with the top of your head, for the next few moments.

    Observe all the commotion here.

All it feels, any fatigue and stresses.

Notice the chaotic nature of you mind right now.

It needs healing. It needs the rest

Recognize the pain. Recognize what is seeks.

Accept the pain it feels. And Let it pass.

    (1-minute pause)

    Feel yourself relax!

Now, shift your attention to your eyes.

They are your window to the world around you.

They see a lot and go through a lot.

Send some gratitude towards them now.

You know they are tired and need healing.

You acknowledge their pain and needs.

    And accept them.

    Let it this pain pass.

Simply remain with the sensations here for the next few moments.

    (1-minute pause)

Bring your awareness to your whole face.

    Notice your jaw.

    Feel your temples.

    Your nose.

    Your ears.

    All your senses.

In everyday life, they are in constant use.

    They too need healing.

The time and space to do so.

Grant them this space right now.

    Acknowledge their pain.

    Acknowledge their needs.

Accept the pain, and let it pass.

    (1-minute pause)

Now move your focus to your neck.

    How it supports your head

Bears the load, and keeps you upright at all times.

    Does it feel stiff?

Does it hold lots of tension?

    Feel its needs.

    Acknowledge its pain.

    Acknowledge its needs.

Accept this pain, and let it pass.

    (1-minute pause)

Bring your awareness to your shoulders now, as well as your upper back.

The first place in your body that reflects your stress.

Here, with any hint of stress your muscles tighten and become tense.

There can be stiffness. There can be pain

    Acknowledge this pain.

Acknowledge the need to let go.

    Accept this pain.

    Accept relaxation as it enters.

    (1-minute pause)

Shift your attention to your arms.

They do so much more than lifting weight.

A common conception of stress, is that it only affects the mind.

Yet, when angry or stressed, you clench your fists.

When scared you clench your arms closer to your body.

Your hands and arms feel the effects of stress all the time.

    They also get tired.

    They also seek healing.

    Acknowledge their pain.

    Acknowledge their needs.

    Accept this pain.

    Let it all pass.

    (1-minute pause)

Shift your focus to your chest.

Here is the centre hub for all you feel.

It also houses your most vital organs.

Your heart. Your lungs. Your lymph.

It bears the weight of any emotional trauma.

    Faces the physical brunt.

    It bears all.

It seeks your healing and your attention.

    You grant it this now.

    Acknowledging its pain.

    Acknowledging its needs.

    Accepting the pain.

    You let it pass.

    (1-minute pause)

Lower your focus down towards your abdomen.

    The central
