About this ebook

It was only a few years ago, God shed his light on me. Anointed me
with the gift of writing poetry. He opened my eyes to understand
from the scripture that I read. A powerful message came down from
above and descended here on me. The grace of God bestowed on me,
the special gift that was given. Burns in my soul, lets the words flow
on this paper it is written. O may I thank him daily for what he has
given to me. May my heart yearn to do his will, to use this gift he
placed in me. To see the mighty hand of God, the creator of all things.
Who used a humble servant, made her a child of the King!

    A Clear Reflection

O Lord forgive me of my sins and give me a clean heart.

Like a pond without a ripple. When I see my reflection there.

Let my heart be pure and cleansed from all sin.

Lord see your reflection in me.

Each day let me stay close to thee and learn from your Holy word.

Let me climb to the top of the mountain even though the way is steep.

I will hang on to the rocks and breathe in deep.

When I rise to the top I’ll drink in the fresh air and smell the fragrant flowers there.

All around on every side, far out in front of me.

O the beauty that I see, O Lord I do thank thee.

The blueness of the sky, the white clouds rolling by.

The green grass tickling at my feet, the flowers fragrance I can smell.

O Lord you give me wealth.

For all these things are free to me and other’s are welcome to receive.

You made all this for me.

I sit down on the mountain top and rest my weary feet.

The gentle breeze and warm sunshine, and singing birds come flying by.

For the beauty of the earth of land and sea and sky.

To appreciate what you have created, O Lord I do indeed.

For all you have blessed me with yes, Lord you have already supplied my needs.

I humbly bow and give you thanks for all you’ve done for me.

    A Grateful Heart

He promises a place to quiet your thoughts.

In His presence you can dwell in the shelter of His arms.

Serenity and peacefullness and a thankfull heart.

A rejoicing in praise giving Glory to Him.

When I think of all the hundreds of sins and the forgiveness from each one.

A mercifull Savior with a kind and gentle heart.

The closeness that I feel when I stop to listen and yes He is there to comfort,

and to teach me about the choices I make.

I cannot thank Him enough for what He has done for me.

Gave His life on the cross at Calvary, rose again, lives forever and is prone to proclaim.

I find myself thanking Him once again.

    A Peaceful Morning

When morning breaks and sunlight streams in open places through the leaves.

Majestic trees with flowers in bloom.

All this from you Lord high above, unendless love.

How can we thank you for all you’ve done?

Listenning to the birds that sing, the brook below where the water flows.

Over rocks and where does it end?

    Tis music to our ears.

All this created Lord by you.

Our praise we show when we take the time to stop and listen, to enjoy.

    All that you have made.

    A Visit Next Door

Sugar the pit bull dog was in his cage.

The whining and barking, he was enraged.

The home health care nurse was here to check on Mary.

They had caged him up and he sounded scary.

Braden said, I’m his uncle you know before me he did not have one.

I’ll calm him down so over he went.

In a few minutes Braden came back and announced to the nurse.

I spoke to him in the english language.

We all had a good laugh about that.

You never know what is going to come out of his mouth.

I asked him when you grow up would you like to be a doctor or nurse.

Braden replied. When I am a grown up I will drive the bus that carries old people around.

Nana you will have to sit in the very back. I asked will your Mother be riding with us.

"Yes, she will be old when I am grown up.

Over Braden went to get him some m&m’s chocolate candy.

Then said his goodbyes and out the door we went.

    A Walk On The Beach

Have you ever walked down to the beach at night, when the wind was blowing strong?

Have you ever stretched out your hand to reach, the waves as they rolled along?
