Syd Bennett is the evolutionary artist raising the stakes with charismatic, soulful music. Stepping away from the game-changing hip-hop collective Odd Future, Syd’s new era sees her reinvent herself, even shedding the latter part of her alias (Syd tha Kyd). The cultural impact of the LA musical group - and her famed counterparts Tyler, the Creator, Frank Ocean, Earl Sweatshirt - ricocheted through the new wave scene.
