It was only a few years ago when God shed his light on me and anointed me with the gift of writing poetry. He opened my eyes to understand from the scripture that I read. A powerful message came down from above and descended here on me. The grace of God bestowed on me the special gift that was given. It burns in my soul and lets the words flow on this paper it is written. May I thank him daily for what he has given to me. May my heart yearn to do his will, to use this gift he placed in me. To see the mighty hand of God, the Creator of all things, who used a humble servant and made her a child of the king!

A Day Of Great Worth

It’s a beautifull day in Gods world.

The leaves are stirring in the breeze.

The buds are forming on some trees.

Spring is almost here.

Robins are starting to build their nests.

New offspring will soon be here.

Gods beautifull world all around us.

For us to enjoy and give thanks.

A new day for us to enjoy.

To reach out and tell others of Gods love.

His son he sent to us.

In whom we place our trust.

He died on a cross and rose again.

Our sins are forgiven.

One day we to will live in Heaven.

We will live out the plan he has for us.

Thank him for all he provides.

Have a wonderful day with the Lord by your side.

A Day With God

As each day begins, I reach out for you.

You are always there for me.

You light the path I walk today.

You shower me with blessings when you

hear me pray.

Praying for others who need comfort and rest.

Give them strength to follow through.

To know they can always depend on you.

Each day we need your guidance Lord to see what

lies ahead.

To obey and learn from your wisdom.

To make this day worthwhile.

To walk the miles, gently give a smile.

To someone who is in need.

Thank you Lord for what I have learned.

My day has been a pleasent one.

You walked by my side.

Now as it draws to an end.

I can lie down and rest.

Thank you for your guidance Lord.

You always help me to do my best.

A Delightful Day

In the quietness of this morning,

I turn to your word and what do I find?

Words of encouragement to bring peace

of mind.

From out of the darkness I am drawn

to the light.

Rest in His arms knowing He cares.

The comfort He brings.

Just knowing He is there.

Taking this day and vowing to be.

A witness to others that they might see.

Getting off self and thinking of others.

Praising the lord for my sisters and brothers.

Make my day cheery with the right attitude,

Already I am in a better mood.

Trusting in you this day will be fine.
