Veronica Jones

I, Amanda Pickard, am a born again Christian and have the love for children, to teach and mentor them through the word of God. I have four children of my own, and they love for me to read to them. While reading to my children, I was encouraged to write this book. I attend a non-denomination church, where I worked in the teenage ministry with the youth. Through out my life's journey and working with the youth at church, I was inspired to start writing. Once I became a writer, I started out writing skits, plays, and songs. I have two songs that are on albums recorded by Hill Top Records, in Hollywood, California. My inspiring of writing also came from teaching the art of hair products in the area of receiving a degree in Cosmetology, from Miami Lakes Technical and Middle Georgia Technical College. I also have a degree in Medical Assisting, and once worked in Pediatrics. I own a business in the area of Cosmetology, where I have the opportunity to mentor kids, and encourage them to read to broaden their knowledge.
