About this ebook
Inspirations from God are just that, inspired by God to teach, inspire, and comfort. He has helped many with their troubles and problems and supplied answers, confirmed and sometimes denied. His way is the best way. He went to the cross, died, and arose so we might have life eternal if we accept his knock at the door of our heart and invite him to come in. From that moment, you will become a different person. Full of peace, joy, and a love you've never known before. Inspired to worship and work for your Father.

Inspirations from God - D.S. Dennis
Introduction
The different aspects of Christ, from the birth to the resurrection, each in themselves tell a story. A deep need for mankind to know and understand all there is about these happenings of Christ has been with us from the beginning.
Praise God for the prophets of old who wisely recorded each avenue of thought given by God.
Hail to the disciples who gave an accurate account, each in and of themselves, of the life of Christ and their experiences with him. Hallelujah to a glorious King and praise his name forever and ever.
Lead My Sheep
Father, I don’t know what it is you want me to write,
But, Father, I’m willing by my sight.
"Lead my sheep and teach them too,
See that they have help to see them through.
Remember back when you were new,
Someone was there to nurture you.
Believe me when I say to you,
This is a witness I’ll ask of you."
Father, I’m not ready to teach someone else,
I need to learn so my teaching won’t be false.
"That’s not true, for behind this front,
You really have fear of my wrath.
My words will come to your mind and heart,
I will help you obtain your start.
You must pray for my guidance each time,
You can still learn but so will others at the same time.
Just wait on me to lay the way out,
You’ll know my will without a doubt.
You must help any way you can,
Be prepared when you hear my plan.
Yes, you are still new, but you have a wealth to share,
Recall of it all will be the job of the Spirit who cares.
Praise the Father for ability that can’t compare,
And thank him for the guidance he’ll share."
Eternal Life
Eternal life to me is just about the best gift,
There just couldn’t be between Jesus and me a rift.
He gave his life so that I might have mine,
Believe me folks, he’ll not let you go now that you’re divine.
Keep yourself ever mindful of the need of him,
Without reliance on him, heaven won’t let you in.
Spend most of your time in communion with him,
For he washed you clean and forgave your sin.
List after list of sins we have committed,
Isn’t it great, he tore them up, so forget it.
He’s waiting and listening for your tender call,
Just waiting to help pick you up from your fall.
Keep a good footing, now place your feet firm,
You’ll keep your balance, if from his Word you did learn.
Turn to Jesus often during the day,
Praise him and hold on tight so from his sight you won’t stray.
Grasp hold of his truth to build a strong house,
Based on a good foundation, it will withstand a good douse.
It will be doused with all kinds of floods each day,
But never a waiver if the Bible is your mainstay.
Return to the good life into which you were born,
Jesus is waiting, glad to see you come home.
Witness of his love he has given you,
Help many others find their way too.
Devoted I’m sure in this life you will remain,
Praising God for his life, giving grace which doth sustain.
Just Praise
I just praise you, Father, for the love you give,
I praise you for the life we live.
I praise you for the grass and trees,
I praise you for the birds and bees.
Maybe I’m ahead of the game,
Maybe I need special help, as the lame.
Maybe before this witness can work,
Maybe I’ve got to pray Satan won’t lurk.
Seems I want to praise you, Lord,
Seems you’re everywhere adored.
Seems you’ll fill just any old heart,
Seems I need to do better at my part.
Can’t imagine life without you,
Can’t seem to figure that through.
Can’t hear a negative thought,
Can’t let myself get overwrought.
Don’t listen to old Satan’s lies,
Don’t hear him when he’s in disguise.
Don’t want to hurt the Lord,
Don’t want to lose that one accord.
Life seems to be all right,
Life is peaceful here tonight.
Life can be a perfect dream,
Life to me is living for him, our Lord Supreme.
Truth for the Day
"There is always a word or two I’ll give to you,
Take them down and study them through.
Be sure you read them as if they were from the Lord,
Then we can at least start as one accord.
Witnesses will bear witness to what I say,
You can depend on it as truth for the day.
So here we are, teaching and learning of Christ,
And believe me, you should heed the advice.
Many a time you’ll need my help in some way,
Please feel free to ask, for I want to help each day.
Little pleas are not a burden on me,
Please ask, for when big problems come, you’ll feel comfortable to come to me.
You see, this is what keeps you in practice, so to speak,
Close and regular contact is what I seek.
Please listen to your peers, for they have learned,
Their treasured advice can be treasure well earned.
They will have lived through your problems, no doubt,
And telling of their experience will truly help you out.
Stop and think each time you speak out,
Is this what Jesus would have me say?
without a doubt.
Miss nothing that will help you grow,
Each meeting with peers will be a lesson learned, I know.
Be sure to thank the Lord often throughout the day,
Tell how you love him, praise him that way.
I love you, and I want to say,
I’ll be at your side, through it all, day by day."
Standing on the Promises
Standing on the promises of God the Father is needed today,
For standing against Satan is what we’re doing in a way.
Grieving for our Lord is not our way,
We must stand on his promises each and every day.
It is necessary if these promises you wish to know,
So to the Bible you must go.
There are many verses to help you withstand,
They were given to help us, this was the plan.
To know and to practice each new step,
Is what the Lord wants to help us forget.
Forget the failures, forget the embarrassment, this is all part,
We must go forward and each time, make a new start.
Read carefully the promises in the Bible,
This is your mainstay as you struggle to become a disciple.
Lift your eyes and stand erect as you pray to your Lord,
Stand on the promises he gave and praise your Lord so adored.
Gifts and love to go with them were given,
Claim them and use them, do some real liven.
Helping others through these gifts is your call,
For the Lord needs and wants us all.
Lift up your arms in praise to the Lord,
Give him your all, this Lord so adored.
Cling to him every chance that you get,
Remember he lifted you out of the pit.
A New Day
Thank you, Lord, for this new day,
Thank you for the children at play.
Many times I stop to watch a new day,
To watch the clouds move along their way.
Seeing forms and shapes take place,
Some even seem to be in a race.
Watching birds can be fun too,
Then I think of your creation and you.
I marvel at how great and powerful you are,
Praising your name, longing to see a special star.
Hope as I may, I’ve not seen a vision in the sky,
This would be at best a glimpse of our city where we will be by and by.
Visions I’ve had but never while I’m awake,
Only wakened from a sleep and too dull to take.
Someday soon, I’ll see and know what they mean,
For that’s what you said about the visions I’ve seen.
For now I’ll keep on watching the sky,
I know I’ll see that city by and by.
Thank you, Lord, for the reassurance you give,
It has been a big help when down here we try to live.
It’s difficult to speak of the things we’d like,
For many a time when we try, old Satan would strike.
Closing their eyes and closing their ears,
I feel so bad at times, it brings me to tears.
But thank you anyway, Lord, for this new day,
It means another chance to witness, maybe in a new way.
Another Chance
Good morning, Lord, thank you for another day,
May it be as good as yesterday.
All went well, and this I must say,
I was pleased the children were good all day.
But today is new, and there is much to do,
I feel as though it can’t begin without praying to you.
The days go much better when we’ve had our talk,
Everything feels good and fits into place like an old sock.
I’m weary today, but I’m sure that will pass,
For strength and freshness from you I will ask.
And as usual, you will answer my prayer,
Because you’ve always been there ready to answer my prayer.
Thank you for that and many more blessings,
It’s wonderful to start a new day without wrestling.
Wrestling with children who won’t mind,
And wrestling with anger and frustrations I find.
It’s so much nicer to start a new day,
Waking to you and being able to pray.
Thank you, Lord, for another chance today,
I
