It was only a few years ago, God shed his light on me.
Anointed me with the gift of writing poetry.
He opened my eyes to understand from the scripture that I read.
A powerful message came down from above and descended here on me.
The grace of God bestowed on me, the special gift that was given.
Burns in my soul, lets the words flow on this paper it is written.
O may I thank him daily for what he has given to me.
May my heart yearn to do his will, to use this gift he placed in me.
To see the mighty hand of God, the creator of all things.
Who used a humble servant, made her a child of the King!

Lord Speak To Me

Lord speak to me through your book of treasure’s.

Each day as I read your word.

Long ago you spoke to other’s who wrote These pages that I read.

The wisdom, the understanding, the cry for mercy indeed.

O Lord this is a powerful account all put together, all bound into one.

Down through the ages it has been read by more that we can count.

All this valuable information, praise the Lord I want to shout!

All my needs it is right in front of my eyes.

The answer to a prayer!

Now my blind eyes can see, my mind can comprehend. my understanding, and how it uplifts me.

O Lord you’re always there indeed!

A precious friend, teacher, shepherd, all these things and more.

The treasure is full and running over.

There is no need to keep score.

Each day the verses that I read, you reveal to me.

All that I need for this day and hour.

The witness I need to be.

The strength that you give for me to move on, my weaknesses you reveal.

Then I bow my head and ask for forgiveness, I know my God is real!

Let me not stray far from your side.

Please take hold of my hand

O lord my strength my redeemer, I’m on the road to the promised land.

Where for eternity I’ll be and all the saints along with me.

To look upon your face I’ll see.

O glorious day when you come for me!

Jesus Is All I Need

From the beginning He who made the world, all that lives and grows within.

Plants, flower’s, tree’s yes all that you see.

Came from our savior, yes he is the one.

He upholds all things by the word of his power.

He takes care of things hour by hour.

Minute by minute he is there with you.

Are you happy to know that your Savior watches over you everyday/

If you fell things in life are crashing all around.

Look up. That’s right he’s there!

He know, he cares, you are safe you will abound.

He can pull you through some very tight spots.

He’s a miracle worker that’s true.

Sometimes he has given my one of them, not only one but two!

Remember Jesus is all you need.

He is the best friend you’ll ever have.

He can change your attitude from sad to glad.

He loves to hear you rejoice, sing praises to him, a mighty King!

Throughout your life, you will realize that above all.

Jesus is all you need, turn your life over to him.

I hope at an early age.

The blessings that he will give to you.

The power of strength you will read from a page.

A page from his Holy book, the Bible you own.

Read from it everyday.

Jesus will direct your paths and show you the right choice to make.

I believe you have finally seen the light.

Jesus is the answer to have a great life.

Jesus Is The Answer

On through your life reflect back on the days, when you first asked him into your heart.

You’ll be so glad you did at an early age, look at the life you have lived!

Look at the days and the past years with him.

See how he kept you from turning to sin.

Today my friend when you read this poem, let Jesus come into your heart.

Then you will realize that from now on, your days will be off to a good start.

You will find him there to supply all your needs.

Have you placed your trust in him?

Praise the Lord for the day, you opened your heart.

You let Jesus Christ move in!

You let him have control over the choices you made.

You listened an obeyed.

Sometimes it was turned into a matter of prayer.

Praise the Lord that you are saved.

You will go on to eternity to live with him.

To Heaven above you will go.

While you are here on Earth, Jesus is all you need.

So wake up each morning, don’t forget to read.

His powerful book, where he speaks to you.

Then all through your day he will be with you.

Praise the Lord I have seen the light!
