About the Author
In loving memory to my late husband, Clifford. He was the hand I held, the shoulder I leaned on, the arms that held me, and the smile that warmed my heart.
Acknowledgments
I first want to thank and praise God for answering my prayers to work through me, guiding my pen across paper to bring these words of His love to you.
Thank you to my late husband, who encouraged me to never let me doubt in myself.
A special thank-you to my children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who are all sent from God, who each are a testimony of His love. They are a constant reminder of how great and loving our Lord is.
To my dear friends and editors who helped me to publish God's word. Thank you, Kendra and Kari.
Introduction
My strong belief and love for our loving God inspired me to write about real life, bringing out His love through words in poetry. We live in such a wicked world today and face many difficult situations; these poems show how our Father can turn every loss to gain.
By reading about God's love in these poems—written by my pen, inspired by God—I pray that everyone who reads these will find something that will help them come closer to our Lord.
The Church
A building made from His master plan,
Filled with peace, built on His land.
Sun shining through the glass,
Letting you know you're home at last.
Loving children of God saying hello at the door,
You'll know right away you need look no more.
The pastor teaching His loving words to you,
As he reads you know each word is true.
You hear words that open your heart to Him,
Words to follow and be cleansed of sin.
The church is such a happy place,
Rooms full of His love and grace.
Your relationship with our Lord will grow,
As the love of God fills your soul.
The Visit
Sitting all alone in her home that day,
Wishing she could talk to him, sadly,
