A Beautiful White Dove
For Smith
A young girl was riding in a truck one day.
She had work to do, she was on her way.
Then suddenly, there was a great big sound,
And she was lying out there on the ground.
Her mother was grieved and torn apart,
That was her darling, Mom was crushed to the heart.
She wondered how she would ever get by.
With her head bowed low, she began to cry.
Then all of a sudden, angel wings she felt.
She started dancing; she knew she had help.
The glory came down from Heaven above.
From the blue sky, came a beautiful white dove.
So from then on, she would dance and rejoice.
She had heard from Heaven, such a sweet tender voice.
She had seen the brightness of that glorious light.
That let her know everything was gonna be alright!

A drunk driver was slowly driving along,
Down an 'ol country road one night.
He was almost home when he lost control,
But he thought everything would be alright.
