Introduction

Since I can remember, I tend to do everything beyond the limits or not at all! Thus, my imagination and sense of humor (you be the judge).

I've always wanted to compose my poetry into a book and/or music! My love for music is well, to say the least, extreme (go figure)!

So as we embark on this journey together, I hope you enjoy the ride as much as I do.

History in the Making

Blink of an eye, came in like a raging storm.

Believe me when I tell you, all were alarmed!

History repeats itself, like the holocaust,

For lack of better words, all were at a loss.

Its name was corona, like that of the beer,

But this one intoxicated us with fear!

They came up with a nickname: COVID-19,

Anything like it, the world had never seen!

People were falling, dropping like flies,

Every day, thousands more would die!

It's still raging like crazy, the world outside,

Cry out to Jesus. In Him, we must confide!

Mesmerized Memory

Under the moonlight, sand between our toes.

Your skin on mine, beneath the heaven's glow!

It's that rolling ocean, that crashing wave,

You make me feel stronger, feel so damn brave.

As the night ushers a new day in.

Take a breath, we'll do it all again!

What a gorgeous sunrise, purple and pink,

You're my life preserve, without you I'd sink!

The sun's rays now making us sweat,

Time spent with you, never forget!
