About this ebook

This is my poetry book that has Christian poems, love poems, fun poems, and poems that are now my new CD. There are even poems of future songs. And of course since I have dedicated this poetry book to my son Christopher who passed in 1996 at 13 years young. There are poems from me, and his mom, and his sisters about him our goodbyes. Something for everyone.

    About The Author

    Notes

    To Everything There Is A Season

    ( Ecclesiastes 3, 1-8)

    A time for every purpose under heaven;

    A time to be born, a time to die;

    A time to plant, and a time to pluck what has been planted;

    A time to kill, and a time to heal;

    A time to break down, and a time to build up;

    A time to weep, and a time to laugh;

    A time to mourn, and a time to dance;

    A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones;

    A time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

    A time to gain, and a time to lose;

    A time to keep, and a time to throw away;

    A time to tear, and a time to sew;

    A time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

    A time to love, and a time to hate;

    A time of war, and a time of peace.

    We all have to go through our seasons,

    but let’s not let them be our stumbling block.

    The Lord will guide us through the seasons,

    if we give them to Him, and have faith

    that He will be there to help us to conquer our battles, and

    win the war for us.

    CHAPTER ONE

    These are some christian poems the Lord gave me back in 1984

    A Bad Day

    If anything could go wrong, it went wrong today.

    The pain grew stronger, and more troubles came.

    As though in the desert, I feel stranded and alone,

    It seems God has left me. in this battle on my own.

    My armor is stripped, my sword not drawn,

    All possible protection, it seems it is all gone.

    Down to the lowest, I’ve truely tried my best,

    But all roads I see, lead to certain death.

    As my heart begins to melt, and death enters my bones,

    A small light of hope, from the Lord is shown.

    And with that hope, knowing the Lord is near,

    My senses become clearer, for a message to hear.

    Life comes back, into my bones again,

    I realize now, hey this isn’t the end.

    With that little bit of hope, I’ve come alive,

    Trusting in the Lord, I was willing to die.

    Family In Christ

    I praise You Father, for my family in Christ,

    For all the love they give, without thinking twice.

    The prayers they speak, all the support they bring,

    Their spiritual gifts, that teach everything.

    The wisdom and knowledge, that You’ve given us,

    In each other with love, we can trust.

    I praise You Father, for making me a part,

    Of one of Your family, from the very start.

    Please bless my brothers and sisters in Christ,

    And for Your redemption, that can ‘t be
