My Heart Is Stirred: Verses for My King
()
About this ebook
This book is filled with devotional poetry, some are written like a prayer and a heart’s cry to the King of King’s. Many of the poems were written during the Covid Pandemic, which for the author wasn’t a call to fear, but to fearlessly proclaim that God is good and He is still on a mission to save His lost children.

My Heart Is Stirred - Dawn Annette Montague
MY HEART IS STIRRED
My heart is stirred with verses for my King
My Saviour, my Lord, my everything.
To sing of His love, where could I start?
He is the brightest glow, within my heart
His, is the face which lights up heaven,
His, is the glory which underpins creation.
Jesus, the name so sweet on my lips,
Yet, all of the power and glory are His.
Oh Jesus, my Jesus, I am undone,
Whenever I contemplate, your great love.
What a tender love story it is
That He should save my life with His.
I cannot wait for the day when the trumpet sounds,
And with His glory the whole earth resounds!
Riding on the clouds in victory
Heralding the dawn of eternity.
Until then intercede for me in Father’s ear,
Keep my lamp burning, and my heart clear.
May heaven fill with incense, when I kneel in prayer,
And the fragrance of Christ, follow me everywhere.
DAWN’S SONG
Oh, sweet brokenness which brought me to my knees,
It is only from there I can glimpse what He sees.
To fit in with the world, I tried with all my might,
Yet in my deepest darkness, You shine your light.
Opening each door to you, unlocking years of pain.
Yielding to healing as you cleanse my heart
