My Amazing Inspired Poetry (It Amazes Me) and Remembering the Remember When’S - Linda Scribner
My Poem of Praise and Thanksgiving
Sincerely written by Linda Scribner
All glory to God
How did you do it, God?
How could this be?
Where did you get all the salt
for the sea?
Then make the tides rise and fall
All glory to thee.
Then make the world beautiful for
your people to see.
Wonderful, marvelous, what
words can describe your infinite
love for us, there by your side.
I praise thee, I love thee
I scarcely can breathe.
For your wonderful power
All glory to thee.
Where are you now, God?
Where did you go? I feel so
alone now down here below.
"Stop looking above, I am not in
the sky." A voice deep inside me
gave the reply.
My heart jumped with joy
I dried the tears from my eyes.
I praise thee. I love thee
Now why the surprise?
You promised to be here
So in your love we could hide.
All our hurts and our sorrows
And you’ll be our guide.
We will live in your love now
Forever I pray.
You promised to be here,
You promised to stay.
To God be the glory
All praises we send.
To God be the glory.
Forever, Amen.
My Testimony, My Jesus
When I was just a little girl,
I went to Sunday school.
We sat around a table and were taught the golden rule
And when we started singing
There was a song so dear
It is not far to Jesus,
He is everywhere.
My heart went out to find him
They made it sound so clear. It is not far to Jesus
He is everywhere.
Then when I was older
Two or three years or more,
I saw a slide of Jesus
Waiting outside the door
This heart door had no handle
It opened only from within
I threw the door wide open and
Said, "Jesus, come on in.
I want you for my savior
I want you for my guide.
Live in me, Lord Jesus.
And stay here by my side."
I wish I could say life was easy
From that great moment on.
But truth be known it hasn’t been
But God has kept me strong. And through trials and tribulations
Some theirs and some my own.
My Lord is always with me
And I will sing this song.
Early if we seek him, early we shall find.
It is not far to Jesus, blest be the tie that binds.
The End of Our Darkest Night
We need to call on our Savior.
In the midst of our sorrow and gloom,
How can we be light in the sight of our plight?
We need a revival real soon.
We love you and adore you
We come to you in fright.
For you are our brightest morning
At the end of our darkest night.
While evil rolls around us,
There is a peace within.
The solid rock the world did mock
Please, God, still be our friend.
Come to us now, dear Father
Stay close and soothe our pain
While evil grasps his hold on earth,
Heaven is still our gain.
We love you and adore you
We come to you in fright.
For you are our brightest morning
At the end of our darkest night.
So help us to stay in your presence,
To hold on to what’s good and what’s right,
To remember to love one another,
And keep your word in our sight.
Keep us safe from all evil.
Deliver us from all of our sin.
You taught us to pray this, Lord Jesus
All praises to you now we send.
We love you and adore you
You are the prize that we seek.
As you fill our hearts with your love now,
All evil on earth will grow weak.
We love you and adore you
You take away all of our fright.
Blessed be the love that finds us.
At the end of our darkest night.

My Struggle with Forgiveness
The little things are easy to forgive
The things that happen just because we live.
But the bigger things that tear our hearts apart
Are harder to forgive right from the start.
Does forgiveness mean it really doesn’t matter
The evil deed that caused my
