Introduction
Now is the time! You’re going to do it. You’re going to finally lose the weight. I believe in you. I know you can do it because I did, and have helped others do the same. Now I want to share with you the five factors that lead to permanent weight loss.
Fitness is my passion, but it definitely has not always been. For the majority of my life, I was overweight. I was the fat kid who got picked on in school. At 19 years old I was at my heaviest. I was 5 feet 10 inches tall, and weighed 270 pounds.
That’s when my friend convinced me to get a gym membership. I knew I needed to make a change. I worked out off and on for six months and saw minimal results. I just wasn’t motivated to put in the effort to become healthy.
Even though I was beginning to get stretch marks on my body and had low energy and self-esteem, I really didn’t feel I was too overweight. When I looked in the mirror I saw a normal sized person. It wasn’t until I saw a picture of myself that I realized I was getting way too big.
That’s when something happened. Something inside me changed and I was motivated. My journey to being healthy had begun. I studied everything I could get my hands on about nutrition and exercise and learned all that I could about getting in shape and losing weight. I finally started eating a healthy diet, and started to hit the gym with renewed motivation.
One year later I was down to a weight of 170 pounds. 100 pounds lighter.
This book is comprised of the latest knowledge about weight loss. It is based on the most recent techniques as well as my own personal experiences in helping myself and others
